What is theWisconsin Winery Coop

Who do we consist of? We are a dedicated group of Wisconsin artisan winemakers who pride ourselves in producing high quality wines with many of us using Wisconsin grown grapes and fruit.

This Co-op has been formed as an avenue of distribu-tion for our high quality wines.

Many of our Wisconsin wineries are growing cold climate grapes and other fruit. These grape varietal names may be new and unfamiliar to most people. We urge you to try our unique wines and discover new and exciting flavors!

Please take time to visit our Co-op members. We are offering you two beautiful, stemmed wine glasses with the inscription, “I did the Wisconsin Winery Co-op Wine Trail,” an elegant souvenir for your support of our Co-op members. Once you have discovered the quality wines made here in Wisconsin, we ask you to look for them in your favorite beverage store. If you don’t find them, please ask the manager to carry...Wisconsin Winery Co-op wines!

We appreciate your support in buying locally produced products.

Cheers...Members of the Wisconsin Winery

A toast to our two amazing travelers

Two young women recently chased their favorite Wisconsin wines on a journey of discovery completed in a record time of eight days.

What’s this all about? It’s about the friendly challenge by the Wisconsin Winery Co-op for you to visit and sample the delicious wines from each of their member’s wineries – 21 in all -- in the shortest amount of time.

Beth and Michelle, long-time friends and co-workers, took up the challenge after learning about the winery tour from a booklet that the Co-op produces. Patterned after poker runs, the tour invites you take the booklet to each winery listed, purchase a bottle, have the staff stamp the booklet, and as a reward once you visited all 21 amazing wineries – receive two gorgeous wine classes.

The previous record for completion of the tour was two weeks and two days. Beth and Michelle took some much needed vacation time and vowed to set a new record. They not only broke it, they smashed it! And had a lot of fun along the way, discovering “gems” that make Wisconsin so special, and learning lots from fellow wine connoisseurs.

Now it’s your turn to take the tour – and maybe the challenge.

Not only will you develop an appreciation for the many varieties and quality of local wines our members produce, but also during the travels you will experience all our state has to offer – from beautiful natural parks and neat dairy farms to northern forests and lakes.

Along the way you and your companions will indulge in a genuine wine tasting experience in a relaxing atmosphere -- guided by experts as you compare and contrast the types of wines each winery produces. And who can beat that!
