With RealTest® technology, theCOgassensingcellusedintheCO1224TandCO1224TRCOdetectorscanbetestedusingaCOgasagent,fullymeetingtherequirementsofNFPA720:2009.SimplyputthedetectorintoRealTestmode,sprayasmallamountofCOintothedetectorpertheinstallationinstructions,andwithinsecondsthedetectorwillalarm,indicatingsuccessfulgasentry.(Seethereversepageortheusermanualforcompleteinstructions.)

WhendangerousamountsofCOaredetected,theCO1224TandCO1224TRdetectorsalertresidentsbysoundingandflashingatemp4signalalarm.With24/7centralstationmonitoring,residentsareguaranteedprotectionwhethertheyareawayfromhome,sleeping,oralreadysufferingfromtheeffectsofCO.

TheCO1224TandCO1224TRaredesignedforsystemoperation.ThesedetectorsarefullylistedtoUL2075andofferacode-requiredtroublerelaytosendasensorfailureorend-of-lifesignaltothecontrolpanelandthecentralstation.TheCO1224TandCO1224TRalsouseSEMS-typeterminalPhilipsheadscrewsforquickerandmorepositivewiringconnectionsandcode-requiredwiringsupervision.Withalowcurrentdraw,thesedetectorsenablemoredevicestobeconnectedtothepanel,limitingtheneedtopurchaseextrapowersuppliesormoreexpensivepanels.As12/24VDCdetectors,theCO1224TandCO1224TRwilloperateonmostindustrysecurityandfirealarmcontrolpanels.
