Warm Up Work: 10 Mins Rest: 1 Min Coaching Points: One step=one touch Can we use all parts of our feet? Chin up looking for space Organization: Ball Wizardry. Players have a ball each and dribbling around the area. Technical Work: 15 Mins Rest: 1 Min Coaching Points: Make the letter ‘L’ (planting foot forward, kicking foot open with toe up, heel down), head over the ball, hit the middle of the ball. Player faces the way they pass the ball. Organization: Gates- 2 to 4 yards wide (gates can vary in size depending on ability/challenge. Players pair up with a friend and find one gate. Players pass back and forth between the gates using the inside of the foot. Organization: 6 goals. Three defenders. Players can be in groups of two/three. Groups dribble through the goals without the defenders putting their foot on the ball. First to 10 goals win. (Can’t dribble through the same goal twice in a row). Skill Work: 15 Mins Rest: 1 Min Coaching Points: Chin up looking for space/defenders Can we be at least 10 steps away from your friend? Decision making on the ball (pass or dribble) Add or reduce defenders. Increase the amount of goals to win the game Organization: Two balls/Two teams.
