    •Lots of respiratory illness, coughs and colds.•Restricted downtown traffic – perhaps no cars allowed in portions of downtown.•Visitors will default to emergency department for routine care if no other options are available.•Minimal downtown primary care infrastructure outside of emergency departments.•Some fans, visitors and residents engaged in risky activities.

    • Reduce non-emergent (routine) volume in local Emergency Departments to provide adequate capacity to deal with any mass-casualty incident (MCI) during the operational period(s).

    • Distribute emergent patients through the healthcare system so as to preserve access to critical functions in the event of an MCI.

    • Coordinate among and between healthcare providers from all sectors to ensure that patients get the right care, at the right time and at the right place.

    • Provide real-time intelligence in support of healthcare operations.

    Daily healthcare situational updates by conference call beginning on Thursday January 26, 2012. More info to follow.

    • Allergic Reactiono Rash Only

    • Sprain/Straino No gross deformity, must be ambulatory

    • Simple Burnso 1st degree < 10%TBSA

    • Must agree to alternative transport

    • During Trialo Approximately 20% of patients in the downtown area

    command would qualify for transport to SuperCare Clinic

    o Largest exclusion = EtOH Intoxicationo Nobody incorrectly chosen for SuperCare transport

    • During Evento Small number of patients transported to SuperCareo Many did not fall within the protocol
