OAKLANDS NORTH MINE & COAL TO LIQUIDS PLANT
Oaklands North Coal Deposit• Approximately 820 Mt JORC resource of sub-bituminous coal.• Readily mineable using conventional open cut methods.• Coal is ideal for gasification (as tested by GTI Chicago)
Preliminary Feasibility studies completed for 7,000, 14,000 and 21,000 bpd CTL Plant capacity options - 21,000 bpd plant has best economic potential.
21,000 bpd will require a multi billion dollar consortium to be formed. First petrol could be available in 2017, providing funds were secured
from this consortium. PFS to be completed December 2012.
