1 CEU for 6 Coding Challenges offered during Breaks/Lunch – 1 hour of actual content. This CEU will only be awarded to attendees who provide a completed coding challenge handout at the end of the day. This year we are tying the coding challenges to beach/surfer themed movies.

Example coding challenge:

• Bodhi is bummin because he has kidney failure and has to postpone catching some bomb waves to get some dialysis. He is seen in the dialysis department for his hemodialysis treatment. Before treatment is administered, Dr. Utah performs a history and examination. Bodhi is found to be doing well enough to receive his dialysis at this time. He receives his dialysis and is sent home. As he is leaving Dr. Utah sees an ex-President mask peaking out of Bodhi’s bag. Busted... What procedure code is reported?

• A. 90937

• B. 90945

• C. 90935

• D. 93990

Answer: C is correct

• Bodhi is having hemodialysis, eliminating answer choice B. A duplex scan is not being performed in this scenario, eliminating answer choice D. The physician only evaluated the patient once, eliminating answer choice A.

• Bonus – what movie is being referenced in this challenge?

• Point Break
