3. Gameschedule:Allteamcoaches,managers,&playerswillberesponsibleforcheckingthetournamentgamescheduledailypriortotheir1stgame.Failuretocheckyourteamsschedulecouldresultinalossfornotshowingupattherighttimeorfield.Thegameschedulewillbepostedonourwebsite,www.FriendshipSports.com,mobileapp,andphysicallypostedatthetournamentnearthescoreboards.

4. LengthofGames:Allgameswillbeplayedin25-minutehalveswitha5-minutehalftime

restperiodinbetween.Refereesarerequiredtokeepa“runningclock”therefore;timewillnotbestoppedexceptformajorissues.

5. GameTimes:Teamsmustbereadytocompeteattheassignedscheduledfields,unless

otherwisenotifiedofchangeinfieldbytournamentofficial.Therewillbeawaitingperiodof10minutesforateamtoshowatthescheduledtimeofcompetition.Refereeswillkeeptrackoftime.Intheeventagamestartslateduetowaitingforateamtoshowupduringthe10-minutewaitingperiod,theteamresponsibleforthedelaywilllose1point.Refereesareresponsiblefornotingtheteamnameandpointpenaltyonthegamescorecard.

6. Inclementweather:Gameswillbeplayed,rain,shine,andthroughwind.Gameswillonly

bestoppedforlightning.ShouldaSaturdaygamestoporbecanceledforlightningthatgamewillberescheduledforthefollowingday.Remaininggameswillstartatoriginallyscheduledtimes.Shouldthesemi-finalorchampionshipfinalgamesnotbeplayedduetoveryheavyrainfallthatdoesnotpermitcontinuanceofcompetitionthesegamesmaybedeclaredcanceledbythetournamentdirectorafterconsolationwiththerepresentativeteamcoaches.Shouldacancellationoccur,thehighestremainingseededteamintherespectivedivisionwillautomaticallybedeclaredthechampionandthe2ndhighestseedremainasthefinalist.

7. Uniforms:Allplayersmustwear(clean)matchingsocceruniforms(jerseys/shirts)with

standardsizeduniquenumbersonbacktoeachgame.Ifthecolorofthejerseysissimilarthehometeammustchange.Limitedsetsofscrimmagevestswillbeavailableforrent.Hometeamislistedfirstontheschedule.

a. TournamentofficialswillissueSaturdaywristbandstoteammanagersatFridaycheckin.SundaywristbandsmustbepickeduponSaturdayatthefieldsbytheteammanagerfollowingtheirlastgameofthedayonly.

b. Wristbandtobewornforallgames,noexceptions.PlayersneedingreplacementbandswillneedtocheckinwithIDagainandpayforanewband.Replacementbandsare$10.

c. Playersnotwearingwristbandduringplaywillbeejected.d. Newwristbandsareissueddaily,yourSaturdaywristbandistobedisposedofatthe

endofthedayandwillnotbevalidonSunday.

12. MinimumPlayers:Allteamsmusthaveaminimumof7playerstobegineachcompetitionatthescheduledtimeofplay,onthefield,intheirpositions(notstandingonthesidelines).

16. ALLSpectatorsmustcompletetheCovidscreeningwaiveronourwebsitepriortoarrivingandbeingallowedtowatch.

a. Players,Spectators&TeamSupporters:Coaches/teammanagerswillbeheldresponsibleforanyactionbytheirspectatorsorsupporters.ThisistheFriendshipTournament…Ourrefereesand/ortournamentdirectorhavetherighttopenalizetheteamofwhichthespectatorsaresupportingbywayofredcardorifneededtournamentelimination.Alloftheplayersareadults,andweexpectyoutoactlikeadults.Intheeventofviolenceorlife-threateningactionwerecommendyoucall911asyourfirstactionpriortofindingatournamentofficial.Yourteamcanandwillberedcardedformisbehaviorofyourspectatorsonthesideline.

b. Music-Noloudmusicistobeplayedonsidelinesasgamesarebeingplayed.Musicthatcanbeheardonthefieldofplaywhilegameisonneedstobeturnedoff.

c. TRASH–TeamsleavingtrashonthefieldswillbeREDCARDED.Refereeswillissueredcardsforlitterbugs.Disposeofyourtrashproperly.Eachteamwillbeissuedtrashbagsatteamcheckin(additionalatthefieldsuponrequest).Itisyourresponsibilitytodisposeofyourowntrashintothetrashbins.

d. TAILGATING-ThereisNOTAILGATING(toincludegrillsetups,fooddistributionorbuffet,gatheringsofpeoplethatarenotontheregisteredteam)ALLOWED.Thisisnotallowedonthefieldsorintheparkinglotofthefacility.Ifyouneedtoberemindedofthisonsite,wewilltellyouonceandyouhave10minutestopackitupandleave.Therewillnotbeasecondwarning,onlyacalltothelocalauthoritiesforthepolicetohandle.

17. Referees.Therefereesaretobetreatedwiththemostrespect.Theyareincontrolofthefieldandgame.Ifyouhaveaconcernorcomplimentaboutareferee,pleasebringittotheattentionoftherefereecoordinator.

f. Anyteamwhoseplayers,and/orsupportersthatenterontoafieldduringadisturbance,fight,and/oraltercationmaybesuspendedfortheremainderofthetournamentandnotallowedback.

19. HomeTeams:Hometeamswillbelistedfirstontheschedule,furnishthegameballand

choose“startingside”.Opponentswill“kickoff”.Thereisnocointoss.HOMEteamistoonlyoccupytheEastsideline.AwayteamistoonlyoccupytheWestsideline.

20. GameBall:Itistheresponsibilityoftheteamtobringgameballs.Werecommendeachteambring3-4balls,apump(wedonotalwayshaveoneastheysometimeswalkaway),andalsoputyourcontactinfoontheball.

a. ALLgameballsmustbesanitizedpriortothestartofthegameandathalftime.Teamsareresponsibleforbringingsanitizertosanitizegameballs.Inaddition,theonsitereferee/fieldmarshalwillhavesanitizer(5-minutecontactrequired)andsanitizinggoalpostsbetweengames.Youarewelcometousethissanitizerprovidingitmakesitswaybackimmediately.

21. Substitutions:Substitutionsareunlimited,forbothteams,andallowedonallstoppages

exceptfree-kickrestartsforfouls,offside,andpenaltykicks.Note:RefereesarerequiredtokeeparunningclockthereforetimeswillnotbestoppedexceptformedicalemergencieswhenPublicServiceEmergencyparamedicsareonthefield.Intheeventagameisstoppedtowaitformedicalemergenciesgamemaybeconsideredfinal.Gamewillnotrunlatetomakeuptimelostonthefield.

22. SideTackling:SlideTacklingisnotrecommendedforanyteamsduetotheuncertaintyof

fieldconditions.Teamsthatcollectivelyagree(bothteammanagersandrefereetogether)willbeallowedtodecideonslidetackleallowancepriortoeachgame.NotagreeingpriortostartofthegameassumesNOSLIDETACKLE.Teamsshouldrefrainfromanyslidetacklingforthepurposeofpotentialinjury.Playerswhoslidetackleanotherplayerdosoattheirownrisktothemselvesaswellastheiropponent.

23. TournamentScoreCards:Atournamentscorecardwillbeprovidedtotherefereesforeachgame.Refereesarerequiredtoaccuratelyrecordthefinalgamescoresonthescorecards.Toavoidproblemsinthereportingofthescoresitisthecoach’sresponsibilitytomeettherefafterthegameandphysicallydoublecheckthefinalgamesscoresonthescorecardattheendofeachgameandsignthegamecard.Scorecardsareturnedintotournamentdirectorwithinthefollowinghourofgameplayandrecordedandpostedonthescoreboardsnearthetournamentdirector’stent.Failuretoverifyanygamescorebyacoachattheendofagamecouldresultinarefereeerroronreportingagamescore.Anyproblemsmustbereportedtoatournamentdirectororrefereeassignorpriortotheteamsnextscheduledgame(assumingithasbeenposted)orthescoreandassignedpointvaluewillremainasreportedwithnochangeregardlessofawin-losssituation.

24. RedCardViolations:AplayerejectedforaRedCardviolationwillbesuspendedforthe

remainderofthegametowhichtheywereissuedtheredcardPLUSthefollowinggame.Teamswillnotbeallowedtosubstituteaplayerforaredcardviolationandmustpayshorthanded.

a. Dependingontheseverityoftheejectionthetournamentdirectorhastherighttoextendsuchsuspensiontoadditionalgames.Asecondredcardoffensewillautomaticallysuspendtheplayerfromtheremainderofthetournament.

b. Whenaskedbyareferee,playersreceivingaredcardmustprovidetheirnametothereferee.Failuretodosorequirestheteamcoachtoprovidethenameofthered-cardedplayer.Intheeventthatnocooperationbytheteamcoachisgiven,therefereewillnoteonthescorecardandinformtournamentofficials.Thegamewillcontinuewiththered-cardedplayersittingout.Thetournamentdirector,whoatherdiscretion,maysuspendtheteamfromfurthercompetitionorimposeothersanctionspendingherreview.

c. TeamswillnowbeREDCARDEDforleavingtrashonthesidelines.

25. Players,Coaches,Managerswhophysicallyattackstournamentstafftoincludereferees,lineperson,ordirectorswillbeautomaticallybebannedfromallfutureFriendshipTournamentEvents.Theteamwillbesuspendedfortheremainderofthetournament,policewillbecalled,chargeswillbepressed.

26. Protest.Anyteamthatwalksoffthefieldduringthematch,asaprotestgesture,willforfeitthatgamepluslose3pointsoffthescoreboard.

Additional details and guidelines put in place due to COVID-19 regulations. We are required, and are happy, to follow all the rules put in place by the State of NV.

You are not required to like the rules, and if you do not plan on following then do not come! We will be enforcing all rules, as we need to do so, in order to operate our business. We will not risk losing our license because someone doesn’t cooperate. When it is ok (as directed by the State of NV) we will get rid of all the restrictions and get back to the mask-less fun we used to have!

We were required to present a plan based on a list of guidelines presented to us on how we are going to prevent the spread of Covid, sanitization schedules, monitoring plans, and so on and so on that we agree to do in order to hold this event. What was agreed to by both parties are what will allow us to procced with this event. Different events may have different rules. Below are the guidelines we must follow for this event.

WRISTBANDS:

• Each player and/or registered participant will be issued a wristband to gain entry into the fields. • If you are not a registered person of the event you will not be issued a wristband and not allowed in the

field areas

SPECTATORS/TEAM SUPPORTERS: • All spectators must complete the covid screening waiver prior to attending this event. • Registering team supporters can only be done on our website.

MASKS - FACE COVERINGS If you aren't actively playing on the field, then YOU MUST HAVE IT OVER YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH at all times while on property unless in your car. NO, ifs and's or but's about it. You aren't wearing a mask/face covering you must leave. If you have a medical condition that doesn’t allow you to do this, we do not recommend you play in this event this year. If you are a sideline person and also can not follow this due to a medical reason, we ask you stay home this time around as well. We are monitored by the state and will not jeopardize our ability to hold future events in a pandemic for this reason.

SANITIZATION • There will be additional sanitizers of all sorts at the tournament staff tents for use. Just ask and use as

needed. • Teams are responsible for bringing multiple balls to have sanitized and ready for use. It is the players

choice when they want to change balls out. • Team managers are responsible for ensuring all balls and goals are sanitized prior to the start of play

(beginning and at the half). Please see above regarding Equipment Sanitization Manager.

FIELDS: This event will take place at the James Regional Sports Park

• ONLY registered team players and supporters are allowed in the field pods. • No animals allowed (this is a permanent rule at this park by CCPR in order to keep fields nice)

o If you require a service animal, we recommend you do not play in this event or register as a spectator. We do not have the approval or ability to verify the validity of service animal documents nor are they allowed at this facility in the field pods. It is a HARD NO on animals this time around.

• No BBQ grills, cooking setups will be allowed • No Tailgating on the fields or in the parking lot is allowed. • Teams/Players/Supporters will not be allowed to hang out on sidelines of games to watch games that

are not theirs. You must leave the field when you are not playing.

• Pre/post game handshakes, high fives, hugs, kisses, and passing the bottle around is not allowed until further notice. Keep your lips and limbs to yourself.

FIELD ACCESS AND FOOT TRAFFIC...... • Teams are not to enter the field 15 minutes prior to game start. • Following the game, teams should fully exit the field area no more than 15 minutes after game has

ended. • If you aren't registered on a team as a participant, you are NOT to be on the fields

SIDELINES Teams will be designated sidelines for each game. Home team to reside on East sideline, Away on West sideline.

• Teams are to exit the field sideline as soon as reasonably possible following the game. We ask you vacate within 10 minutes so the referee can do a sideline check prior to the incoming team taking possession of the area.

• Teams are responsible for keeping the sideline trash free. If you need a trash bag, we have extras to give you at the event tents.

o You must dispose your trash IN the trashcan. Not leave a bag on the field, put it in the can! • ANY TEAM leaving trash at the sideline will be penalized 1pt and red carded per occurrence. Referee

will inspect sidelines and notate on game card at the completion of each game. • No flags or items that need to be "staked" into the ground allowed. • NO COMMUNITY FOOD on the sidelines.

GAME SCHEDULE The game schedule will be posted May 10th.

• NO, you cannot make schedule requests! I won't even respond to the ask. • NO, I will not change a schedule so you can play on 2 teams.

ROSTERS Password is required. Team managers have this.

• The Roster is online, on our website. You must complete this online o Manager listed on roster is not considered a player. To play, manager must add themselves as a

player. • Your roster will be due no later than 5/7. Limited changes will be allowed between 5/7 – 5/10. No

adds after 5/10, 9pm PST. • You may only have 20 players on your roster when rosters close on 5/10, 9pm local time.

o The system will allow you to enter more than 20 players. I am aware sometimes you have last minute drops and it is a scramble to get the new player in before the deadline. I would recommend you recruit a few additional players if you have flakes on your team. Add them to your roster, everyone on the roster will be sent a waiver, they complete it, and then everyone is ready to go on that level. You can clean up the roster in time for the 5/10 deadline as needed. It is way easier to just email me to delete someone than 24 prior to the event you are scrambling and begging me to make an exception to change out a player and or stand around registration trying to get them to text you their ID and then sign the waiver.... You all have been there, and you know what I am talking about. Let's not play that game anymore. Just add a few more players (a few, not a half dozen) and prior check in I will make sure you don't exceed 20.

WAIVERS - WILL START BEING SENT MAY 1 READ THE INFO BELOW BEFORE EMAILING US ABOUT THE WAIVER!

• Waivers are per person, not team. Each player must sign the waivers to play o The waiver will need to be signed no later than 9pm PST on 5/14 to play o # of teams you play on is irrelevant to the waiver. You will only get duplicate waivers if you

used two different email addresses to add yourself to two different teams. o Each player must have their own email address. One person per email address, multiple family

members cannot use the same email for this. • Waivers are not sent automatically. It is a manual process for us so please BE PATIENT! Some teams

may get them all in the same hour, some may not. Sometimes I send them out starting with the beginning of the alphabet, sometimes I send them when I am verifying ID's.... MY point is that if 80% of your team got them and you didn't just be patient. It will be sent to you as I get to it. EVERY SINGLE NAME on the roster will get the waiver by 5/10.

o If it says you have been sent a wavier, search that date in your email in the junk/spam folder. It will say from Salina Pagan via Adobe Sign. If you still can’t find it THEN you email me, and I will get on it.

o If you signed the waiver properly it will automatically email BOTH of us a copy. Please DO NOT forward me a copy, I will already have it. If you didn't complete it properly a reminder to sign it will be emailed every 24 hours until it is complete. Not receiving a copy of the signed waiver in your email is a guarantee it was not completed. Try again.

o If you signed it and the roster is not showing it is complete double check the time on when the roster was updated vs when you signed it. It is not an automatic feed. I must view it to verify you put your name correctly and signed it correctly before I will update the roster to show complete. So again, please be patient.
