FRIGOWALL is available in the thickness of 80mm, 100mm, 120mm, 150mm & 180mm.

All panels are with the cover width of 1000 mm.

Double tongue and groove joint between the panels ensure precise inter locking and provide

dimensional accuracy. The panels ae locked together by means of press fit and it has been

designed in such a way that there are no thermal bridges and only foam comes in contact at the

core of the panels. Flashing of same finish of cold storage panels employed on corners, wall to

ceiling and partitions to ensure complete sealing. This type of joint system provided by Metecno

ensures air tightness between the panels.

FRIGOWALL

Frigowall is the most suited insulated sandwich panel for cold storage industry due to its “state-

of-the-art” double tongue and groove joint, which eliminates the risk of thermal bridge and

avoids any moisture ingression between the panels. Frigowall is used for walls, partition and

ceiling of the cold storage.

MONOWALL

Self-supporting metal panels insulated with polyurethane foam for use in refrigerated

rooms with positive temperatures, industrial, commercial buildings and partitions in

general. Monowall has single tongue and groove joint and it is used for walls, partitions

and ceiling.

Single tongue and groove joints ensure the interlocking between the panels. The panels are

locked together by means of press fit and it has been designed in such a way that there are no

thermal bridges and only foam comes in contact at the core of the panels. Flashing of same

finish of cold storage panels employed on corners, wall to ceiling and partitions to ensure

complete sealing.

Monowall is available in the thickness of 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 & 100 mm. All panels are with the

GLAMET

Self-supporting metal panel, insulated with polyurethane, for pitched roofs with a

minimum slope of 7% used in industrial and commercial buildings and refrigerated

warehouses. Glamet has over lapping joint and are used for roofing & wall cladding

Over lapping joint ensures the interlocking between the panels. It arrests seepage and also

gives additional strength to the panel to withstand all weather conditions and make it walkable.

Glamet is in the thickness of 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 & 100mm. All panels are with the cover width of

1000 mm.

PIR PANELS (FIRE SAFE)

Polyiscyanurate (PIR) an improvement on polyurethane (PUR). The chemical formulation is

different than PUR to take care of better fire resistance. Our PIR panels are FM Global

approved for Frigowall, Monowall & Glamet products and these are best products available

in the industry.

PRE - ENGINEERED STEEL BUILDING (PEB)

Steel Structure for Cold Storage Applications :

Metecno India undertakes the design, fabrication, supply and installation of pre-engineered Steel Structure for Cold Storage applications, undergoing high variation in temperature.

Built-up sections are made from hot rolled plates conforming to ASTM A-572 Gr50 (345 Mpa) steel. The plates are joined together on one side of the web by a continuous automatic submerged arc welding process to produce the section required.

Hot rolled sections except beams and bracing rods and sag rods are mill sections complying with IS:2062 steel.

Cold storage with many internal floors with in PEB structures is designed by Metecno for

G+5 (or) more floor constructions and also mezzanine floors (decking).

Controlled atmosphere is applied to extend the storage life of fruits and vegetables. Most of othem can be stored considerably for more time compared with normal 0 cold store. Infact CA

reduces drastically metabolism and respiration of the fruits.

Atmospheric air consists of 20.8% oxygen, 78% nitrogen and about 0.03% carbon dioxide.

Controlled atmosphere is a technology based on variations of the parameters relative to

atmospheric composition inside the cold-storage rooms, mainly lowering of the oxygen content

and surveying the carbon dioxide value during the entire storage period of fresh produce.

The list of products that can benefit from being stored under controlled atmosphere is long. The

main products are: Apples, Tomatoes, Mango, Avocado, Pineapple, Banana, Citrus fruits Pears,

Kiwifruit, Plums, Blueberries, Strawberries, etc

The Sandwich insulated PUF panels that make the cells hermetically tight, retain the desired gas

tight ratios. Metecno Panels have proven track record having successfully used in CA

applications worldwide. Special resins are applied to panel joints to maintain the gas tightness

and that it withstands a pressure of 30 mm water column for a period of 30 minutes consistently,

as the Gas tight test is very important for the proper functioning of CA storages.

Metecno produces polyurethane foam slabs

with both sides kraft sheets, for floor insulation.

Floor PUF slabs are supplied in two layers or in

single layer based on customer needs.

Accessories such as Tarfelt, Bitumen and

salicoat are part of supplies for floor insulation.

Floor finish is also done with Aluminium

chequered plates.

Flashings are designed acording to the project requirement and supplied by Metecno along

with all the required accessories.

Metecno recommends compulsory use of pressure relief valve (Pressure Port) in cold storages,

for safety of the cold storages.

The following formula determines the number of valves needed for the cold storage room.

Note : Metecno Design Team to be contacted for right selection pressure ports.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Metecno’s “state of the art” production facility which is first of its kind in India to produce

sandwich Polyurethane / Mineral Wool insulated panels in continuous line. The plant is fully

automated right from corona treatment, guard film on external surface of coil roll forming

(profiling), glueing, polyurethane foaming, cutting to size, stacking and packing etc.,

The plant produces panels using environment friendly pentane as the blowing agent thus

meeting the highest international regulations and standards.
