Be Biblical like ChristBe Biblical like Christy Colleges and Universities for the most part

are run by former hippies who areintellectually astute but morally

bankrupted. As a result, these institutionsbecome the greatest test to the faith ofthe believers attending these schools.

y Colleges and Universities educate, but also

indoctrinate with a whole range ofphilosophies and world views starting withMarxism, paganism, and finishing with thelatest cultural fads.

y Christ the preteen, Luke 2:42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast.

and was subject to them, but His mother kept all thesethings in her heart.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

y How is/was your life as a preteen? Movies, iPod,iPhone, video games, surfing the net, rockmusic, fashion, worldliness, or a genuine desire

to be Christ-like?y What are you fervent about? Christ had only

one passion: the Word of His Father. Everythingelse hinged on that.

y Are you genuinely interested in the Word of

God and theology? Do you listen to greatpreachers?

y Do you ask intelligent questions as a result ofyour pursuit of the Word of God?

Are you in your Fathers business?y Are you subject to your parents?

y Do you grow spiritually?

Are you socially fit like Christ was?

y The greatest missing thing in the life ofbelievers today is prayer. Evenrenowned evangelicals lack consistent

prayer.y Christ was excelling in prayer.

Let no one despise your youth, but be anexample to the believers in word, in conduct, inlove, in spirit, in faith, in purity. T ill I come, giveattention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on thesethings; give yourself entirely to them, that your

progress may be evident to all.T

ake heed toyourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them,for in doing this you will save both yourself andthose who hear you. (1 Timothy 4: 12-16)

y What areas of your life are questionable?

y Do you set an example to the believers in

conduct, love, spirit, faith and purity?

y Are you interested in doctrine?

y Do you exercise your gift?

y Do you meditate on the things above?Do you commit yourself entirely to themthat your progress may be evident to all?




And having food and clothing, with thesewe shall be content. But those who desire tobe rich fall into temptation and a snare, and

into many foolish and harmful lusts whichdrown men in destruction and perdition.For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the

faith in their greediness, and piercedthemselves through with many sorrows.(1 Timothy 6: 8-10)

y Do you want to become rich? Be honest!

y Do you love money? Confess!




But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursuerighteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to whichyou were also called and have confessed the good confessionin the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of

y Did you know that trying to fit in is thebetrayal of the Gospel from the start?

y Did you know that the Word of God callsyou to be on a mission at the Universitycampus and doesnt even hint at peerpressure?

y Did you know that you are to putsanctifying pressure among your peers

in the way you behave, dress, speak,and evangelize?

y Did you know that as a believer you setsome moral boundaries? If they ignoreit, dont start a low self-esteem drama!Your identity is in Christ, not inaffirmation from those around you.

y Did you know that you have to be thewisest person around, giving godly

counsel based on Gods Word to peoplein crisis?

y Did you know that most campus

ministries are worldly, equally asdangerous to the committed believer asthe secular culture?
