Nobody finds inner peace without reconciling this fact. Our society teaches us that pleasure, prosperity, position, and popularity will make us happy--but living in the service of self always leaves an emptiness no earthly reward can fill. May all of us remember our real purpose here on Earth to glorify our mighty God. FAMILY NOTES

NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY

Abby Orall was baptized this past Sun. eve., July 27 by her father, Greg.

Please extend a family welcome to Abby and hugs, also, to her sweet

parents, Greg and Lori, and brother, Zach.

THANK YOU

Special thanks to all who helped cover the Coffee Shoppe while we were

out seeing America. We had a much needed vacation. And got to spend

it with family. Special Thanks to Kay Gribble for making sure everything

was taken care of for those who served in the Shoppe. May God Bless

each and everyone. ~Ron & Terry Everson

Our sincere appreciation for all prayers sent to Father, and all cards sent.

We love our extended family at Belpre so much. It is nice to have your

love! ~ Jan Hartman and family

SYMPATHY

We extend our sympathy and love to Wanda Childress. Her husband,

John, passed away on Tues., July 15.

WELCOME!

Welcome to the Belpre Church of Christ! We’re glad that you’ve joined in gathering to worship our Heavenly Father. The Belpre Church is made up

of sinners who’ve been saved by God’s grace. We’re fellow strugglers in life’s journey, helping each other with daily challenges. If this is your first

time as a guest at the Belpre Church, we’d love to talk with you about Jesus Christ and his church here. If you’re looking for a church home, you

may have found it. Welcome and please come back!

John 3:1-15

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not

marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and

you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is
