Help us make this the year the End of Life Option bill becomes law in Maryland! As of Monday, January 16th, the Ping Pong Room and Blue Room will be out-of-service; SAGE classes have been reassigned to other spaces. Contractors will begin demolishing the space to make way for the new dining space. The Creative Arts Room will remain open. In addition, Bianca Williams will relocate to the Administrative offices during the

week of January 9th. Bianca’s extension will remain the same. Also in the upcoming future (date TBD), the Residents Association will relocate to the space currently used for staff training (across the hall). What else can you expect to see? Workers will begin to lay a stone driveway from the fire road to the back side of the dining room. Further updates will be provided at the Community Meeting on the 20th and future.

Built in 1852 as a middle-class farm house for the family of John and Mary Surratt, the historic Surratt House has national significance due to its role in dramatic events surrounding the Lincoln assassination conspiracy.
