The Coloplast Professional Online Training Portal is a toolbox offering a range of bladder and bowel care clinical programmes.

The aim of the training packages is to support personal development and to increase standards of care for patients within the clinical practice environment.

Each training package is made up of four modulesthat address areas such as Anatomy and Physiology, clinical assessment, disease/condition management, troubleshooting, clinical teaching and case history reviews. You will be expected to complete and pass each module before completing the course.

On completion of this module it is possible to gain practical training / competency in ISC – speak to your Coloplast representative for more details and course dates.

This has been developed to provide learners with an understanding of Peristeen anal irrigation and builds on the knowledge gained in the Introduction to Bladder & Bowel Management and management of Bowel Continence in Adults modules. On completion of this module it is possible to gain practical training / competency in Peristeen Anal Irrigation – speak to your Coloplast representative for more details and course dates.

How do I get started?You can access the Online Training Portal anytime from anywhere thatyou have access to a computer and the internet. Follow these steps to register and access the online courses fromColoplast Professional.

1. Go to the Coloplast Professional Online Training Portal website at:http://coloplast.e3learning.co.uk

2. If you have not registered before, you’ll need to create an account by clicking on ‘Register now’

3. Enter the password ‘coloplast’ when prompted

4. Fill in all of your details as requested: a. Username – this can be anything you want it to be b. Password – this can be anything you like (4 character minimum) c. First name d. Last Name e. Job role – select from the drop down menu f. Email - please use your work email address

g. Phone – please use your work phone number h. Hospital / place of work i. Work address line 1 j. Work address line 2 k. Hospital / place of work city l. County m. Postcode – use your work postcode. If you are registering in Ireland and do not have a postcode, please enter ‘Ireland’ as your postcode n. Country

Once you have entered your details, you will be asked to confirm which courses you want to access. Please select the ‘Continence courses’ and then choose the name of your Trust / Organisation from the drop down menu. If your organisation is not listed below, please DO NOT complete your registration and instead contact your local Coloplast representative or email [email protected] and we will add your organisation to the system.

Information for managersThere is a facility as part of these programmes for ‘Trainers’ to set up and manage their own learning group. You will then have the ability to check on progress of group members and keep a training log for your trust, organisation or department.

To get your organisation set up on the Coloplast Professional Online Training Portal you need to have a group added to the system. To arrange setting up your organisation, please contact your local Coloplast representative or email [email protected]. We will arrange for your organisation to be added to the system and provide further information on how to use your Training manager account, how to roll out the courses to your learners and how to monitor progress in your organisation.
