Rules vary greatly from city to city.
But it can be tough…
Which leads to a lot of phone calls to water providers and web searches… Extremely inefficient and frustrating...

A smartphone app for people working in the field to find the ‘Right Rules,
Right Now.’
The “H2ORegsCO” app Goal Provide accurate landscape regulation, ordinance and procedural information to people working in the field
Objectives • Enable easy, instant, mobile access to information
specific to a job location
• Help contractors save time and money otherwise spent researching rules from a multitude of sources
• Reduce calls to water providers by having a ‘one-stop shop’ location
• Reach smaller operators or companies new to Colorado learn about rules and regulations
• Enhance the partnership between blue & green industries to collaborate on tools and programs
How The App Will Work— Easy as 1, 2, 3
Step 1
Locate the project Enter the zip code of the project location. The app will display all water providers associated with that zip code.
The app will have a mirrored website so can be viewed on tablets and desktops.
Step 2
Choose the Type of Project
The main topic areas of the app will appear as icons, e.g. “Sod,” “Watering Times,” “Drought Restrictions,” etc.
The logo of the selected water provider will be displayed so the user knows they are seeing information specific to that utility.
Global Navigation will allow a user to return to the main screen, access their profile or see generic screens such as FAQs or read about the sponsors.
Step 3
Get Detailed Information The app will display relevant codes, ordinances or restrictions. An app user will have the option to save a search for future visits.
User Profiles Find stuff faster.
• Return to favorite search
• Select water providers • Receive alerts
Messaging Alerts will also allow messaging from the app partners.
Managing the App Water Providers can update information at their convenience

• Send alerts to subscribers
