Important Precautions
Make sure to insert the power plug completely. If power cable is not fixed completely, a fire can break out .
Do not pull out the power cord. Always Pull out by the power plug. Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Do not damage the power cord.
Do not unplug the power cord while the product is in use. Do not use the power plug to turn the product ON/OFF. Electric shock can damage the product.
Do not overload AC outlets by plugging too many appliances in the same socket or extension cords. They may result in a shock or fire hazard.
Never leave the TV set “ON” when leaving the house. Unplug the TV before moving it or if you are not going to use it for several days or during lightning storms.
For Own safety, Never touch any part of product, the power cord, and the antenna cable during lightning storms. You may be electrocuted.
TV set are provided with ventilation holes to allow the release of heat generated.Make sure that these holes are not blocked. Do not install the product in a confined place, such as book case or built in cabinet .
Do not place any object filled with liquid such as Vases, cup, glass etc on the TV set. Do not place the lighted candles on the TV set. This may cause fire or an electric shock hazard.
This unit has been engineered and manufactured to assure your personal safety, however improper use may result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. In order to allow the proper operation of all safeguards incorporated in this TV set, observe the following basic rules for its installation, use and servicing. Keep it in an accessible place for future reference. (TV operating voltage is : 110V ~ 240V AC)

Important Precautions
To avoid battery leakage and damage to the remote, remove the batteries from the remote if you are not going to use it for several days. If any liquid leaks from the batteries and touch your skin, immediately wash it away with water.
Battery Installation: The remote control Handset is powered by two AA/ AAA batteries. To Load the Batteries, turn the remote control handset over and open the battery compartment. Install two batteries as per the polarity symbols ( and ) marked inside the battery compartment .
Do Not use the stabilizer, as this set has a In built stabilizer. Use of External Inferior Quality stabilizer may damage your product .

Do not allow children to climb over it. If the product falls / collapses, you may be hurt. Do not drop or push objects (like coins, hair pins etc) into the TV cabinet openings. Some internal parts carry hazardous voltages.
Do not attempt to open the product. There are dangerous High Voltages inside. Refer to Servicing through Qualified Personnel if the TV is not operating properly.
If you can smell a smoke or other odors or hear a strange sound unplug the power cord and contact the service center. If you continue to use, electric shock can occur.
Do not place the product where it might be exposed to excessive heat, sunlight, rain or moisture.
Avoid personal injury / set damage by Installing the product on a flat and stable place that can support the weight of the set and has no risk of dropping the product.
While cleaning the product, Unplug the Power cord and clean with dry & soft cloth. Do not use thinner, aerosol or any other chemical to clean .

Normally fine tuning is only necessary if reception is poor.
1. Repeat the Manual programme tuning steps 1 to 3. 2. Press the button to select Fine.3. Press the button step by step to fine tune for the best
picture and sound.
4. Press the OK button.5. Repeatedly press the MENU or button to return to normal TV
viewing.The finely tuned programme will be indicated by yellow number during programme selection.

Picture format (ARC) (option)You can watch TV in various picture formats; Standard, Wide, Zoom.Repeatedly press the ARC button to select your desired picture format.
Standard (4:3)This picture format is 4 : 3 of general TV.
Wide (option)You can enjoy the cinema (the picture format of 16:9) or general TV programme through the 16:9 mode.The screen 16:9 is viewed just like that but the screen 4:3. is magnified to the upper/lower so that the screen 16:9 is full.
Zoom (14:9) You can enjoy the cinema in a vast screen through the Zoom mode. The screen 4:3 is magnified to the upper/lower sides so that the screen 16:9 is full. The bottom and top of the picture may be lost.
Note :a. When you switch the set to Off, the Wide or Zoom picture
format is reset to the Standard (4:3).b. In the 1/2 size sub picture and vertical four sub pictures of PlP
mode the picture format is not available.c. This menu will appear only in English.
Excellent digital picture selection (option)When this function is On, picture quality will be enhanced. Repeatedly press the XDP/* button to switch On or Off.
Note : If you press the PSM or EYE/* button with the XDP function, the excellent digital picture function is automatically switched Off.

To recall your preferred sound settings press the SSM button repeatedly various SSM modes are Flat, Music, News, Theatre, Classic*, Pop*, Raaga*, Jazz*, Rock*, User Except user mode remaining all SSM are programmed for good sound reproduction at the factory and cannot be changed.
Note: 1. If any frequency of equalizer adjusted then SSM mode
automatically changes to User. 2. Number of SSM mode may be 5 or 10 depending on model.

In X-Wave (FM transmitter), you can select a pre-selected frequency (88 MHz to 107 MHz) at which the TV audio shall be transmitted. This way you can enjoy sound of TV on your music system and customize it as per your choice. Please note this transmission is effective only till distance of 7 mtr. (provided no obstruction is there in between TV and the receiver). If the reception is not clear, you may switch reception in your receiver from STEREO to MONO for better sound quality.

Game optional function, only a set with game can perform this function by using the remote control handset.1. Press the Game (yellow) button and then button to select
the game.

Music Mode (Green Button)You can hear music while the TV screen is Off using the function.1. Press the Green button to start the music mode.2. Press any key to exit from Music Mode except vol. keys.3. Volume level can be changed (Vol+/Vol-) in music mode.
Equalizer ( Red button) Equalizer is displayed on the screen by pressing the red button.
Tune (Blue Button)When Blue button is pressed Tune Menu is displayed, press OK to start, Menu to exit.
Note: These function of the coloured buttons are available only when X-SORT function is Off

You can select the different programmes and add them into different categories (Music, Movies, News, Drama).
Press X-SORT button on the remote switch On/Off the X-SORT function.
Press the coloured buttons to select the programme to desired category.
If X-Sort is On, switches to the next programme in the same group.
Adding a program to a desired category
1. Press the X- LIST button to display the list of the programme on the screen.
2. Use or buttons to scrolls between the programmes and then press OK to select the desired programme.
3. Press appropriate coloured key to add the selected programme in the desired category. Press again the coloured buttons to FREE the programme from the X-Sort Categories.
4. Red button-Music programmes category.5. Green button-Movies programmes category.6. Yellow button-News programmes category.7. Blue button-Drama programmes category.
Note: X- LIST, X-SORT keys works only in RF mode (TV mode)

Headphone socket (option)
Only models which have a headphone socket can perform this function.
Insert the headphone plug to the headphone socket of the set. You can listen to the sound through the headphone.
If you press the MUTE button, the sound from the headphone is switched Off.
S-Video/ Audio in sockets (S-AV) (option)
When connecting an S-VIDEO VCR to S-VIDEO socket, the picture quality will be further improved.
1. Connect the S-video socket of the VCR to the S-VIDEO socket of the set.
2. Connect the audio cable from the S-VIDEO VCR to the AUDIO socket of set.
3. Select S-VIDEO by pressing th TV/AV button repeatedly.4. Press the PLAY button on the VCR. The VCR playback picture appears on the screen. B

i) Colour patch might appear in your TV set if you rotate or shift the position of the set while it is On or in standby mode. If patch appears in your TV set try the following before calling your service centre or dealer. Place the TV set in desired position and switch it Off by the main power switch. Allow the set to cool down for at least 30 minutes and then switch it On. The degaussing circuit (inbuilt) in your set will remove the patch automatically. Please call service only in case this operation does not help.
ii) When the TV set is switched Off in Standby mode, It may take some time (upto 15 second) for the LED to switch Off.

Authorized Service Centers of LGEIL. In case the customer shifts the place of residence during warranty period, it is advised to contact Authorized Service Centre directly or call our help line.
3. Repairs under warranty shall be carried out by an authorized service personnel only. The details of centralized help lines are attached.
4. For units installed beyond municipal limits of the jurisdiction of company’s Authorized Service Center, it is responsibility of the purchaser to contact the nearest authorized service center and bring the unit to the authorized service center at its own cost and risk. All expenses incurred in collecting the units or parts thereof from the company’s authorized service center, as well as expenses incurred with deputizing of service personnel/technicians towards conveyance and other incidentals etc. will be borne by the customer. Local Charges for transportation and handling charges may vary from location to location. Customers are advised to verify before. In case the customer desires to bring the unit on its own to the Authorized Service Centre, the same shall be at its own risks and consequences.
5. The concerned authorized service center will advise the customer whether to effect the repairs at site or at the authorized service center.
7. In case of repairs or replacement of any part/s of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of LGEIL alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of LGEIL), the same model shall be replaced and in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model of price equivalent at the time of purchase.
8. In case of any damage to the product / customer abuse/ repairs by un-authorised personnels/ misuse detected/ by the Authorized Service Center personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be done subject to availability of parts and on a chargeable basis only.
9. This warranty shall not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the Colour Television. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of defective parts only under the warranty period.
10. The company or its Authorized Service Center reserves the right to retain any part/s or component replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during warranty period.
11. While the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it however is made expressly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
12. Warranty does not cover accessories external to the equipment supplied by the dealer.
Warranty is not applicable in any of the following cases :
1. The warranty card is not completed properly at the time of purchase. 2. The completed warranty card is not presented to authorized service personnel at the time of service of the product. 3. The product is not operated according to instructions given in the Operating Instruction Booklet. 4. Defects are caused by improper or reckless use, which shall be determined by the company personnel. 5. Any repair work is carried out by persons other than authorized service personnel. 6. Defects are caused by due to causes beyond control like lightening, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to service center or purchaser’s residence. 7. The warranty is not valid in case, the serial number is deleted, defected or altered. 8. Damage to the product or any part/s due to transportation or shifting is not covered by warranty. 9. This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period of 12 months, even if the Product may not be in use for any time during the warranty period for any reason.10. Only courts in state of Delhi and places where LGEIL has it’s branch office shall have the jurisdiction for settling any claims, disputes arising under the warranty

6. Call registered with the centralized helpline/Authorized service center, wherein only cleaning of the unit/parts in the unit due to dust accumulation on portions of the unit, general explanations/returning, are not to be considered as defects.
13. If any coloured internal or external components are replaced, there will be commitment to ensure that the shades match with the original or other components. The replaced shades, patterns, tints may vary from the customer's unit due to continuous usage of the unit. Any matching components changed at customer's request will be on chargeable basis except the component which actually needed
