Pad of the Pres
Another successful show done for the season, and I can't thank everyone enough for stepping up and volunteering. It's so great to see everyone pitching in and working together. I love seeing all the new faces and even a couple of older ones as well. The smiles on everyone's faces and encouragement from others make it all worthwhile. Looking forward to our Poker Chip ride on the 16th of June. This is the first time we've attempted something like this, but have some great ideas to make it a fun day for everyone!!! You can even enjoy participating without a horse, so families can spend the day together and have some fun!!! Just a reminder for painting the arena on the 3rd and 10th of June. The more that show up, the less time it will take. It's an easy way to get volunteer hours for your year end awards... Hope to see many of you there!!!! Looking forward to seeing all of you at our next show on June 23rd. Hoping for great weather and a great day with everyone!!! Thanks to everyone for helping make this a great organization for our 30th year!!!! We couldn't do it without you!!!! Keep Riding!!!

Come join us for open riding!! We have the Quint Valley Arena reserved
on Wednesday evenings starting at 5 PM for CCHA members. Come when you can and work on whatever you like. This is an op-portunity to get in the arena and practice
without the stress of the show day!
As you read the newsletter and see the business cards, please remember that these businesses have contributed to CCHA and are part of the reason we are able to have the horse club. When you are in the business, please let them know you are a member of CCHA and how much we appreciate them being a sponsor. If we don’t tell them, they won’t know. Thanks!!
The State of Colorado produced an awesome product that every horse person can use! I also be-lieve that by down loading it and using it they will see horse folks are using it and hopefully ex-pand it for our community. I see many horse trails listed and many more that need to be listed for horse use. I think this is a good start and I do know that the state of Colorado has shown their commitment to our horse community which is nice. A unified Horse Community can better bat-tle issues we face! I hope you give the app a try and provide feed back to the Colorado DNR on

Each year CCHA has a meeting to discuss and determine the rules and bylaws for the upcoming year. The mem-bership is invited and welcomed for their input. After discussion and a voting process that includes board members/officers and the general membership, the show rules and/or bylaws are updated. That process has been completed and they can be found on our web-site at https://www.cchahorseclub.com/forms-by-laws

Simply click on the “2019 Entry Form Online” tab. On that page you
may select “Print and Mail” or “Enter Online”
Entry Form Instructions Fill out and sign the entry form. Complete a separate form for each horse you will be rid-ing. Each horse will be assigned a different number and you must wear the number corre-sponding to that particular horse. Circle the class number of the event under the age group you wish to enter. You compete in the age group that you are on January 1st of the current year. Example; If on April 5th you turn 9, you will compete in the 8 & under age division. Pre-Entry Instructions You will save the office fee and have your class cards filled out for you by pre-entering. You can mail your pre-entries, turn them in at the prior show or a General or Board meet-ing. Pre- entries must be received by the Wednesday preceding a show. The form needs your name, your horse’s name, age group, class name, and the class number. On the day of the show, just pick up your number, sign your form, and pay your fees. If you do not pre-enter you will need to fill out your class cards the day of the show. If you select Enter Online-Simply fill out the form and click submit. You will receive a con-firmation email that we have received your entry!! On the day of the show, just pick up your number, sign your form, and pay your fees.
