I have multiple text files in .txt format. And I am thinking about combining these dozens of Text files into one Mobi file, does anyone know how? Pls help! - Chris from Kindle Fire Forum

Answer• If you are facing the same problem, here I give

you the easiest method (For Windows). It's easy to combine several Text files into one Text file.

• First of all, create a new folder with name text in d: and put the files you want to convert in d:\text directory (other directory is OK).

• Then, enter DOS OS ( Run -> cmd -> Enter), and type the code in DOS OS:

• d: • cd text • copy *.* new.txt • Just change the name of new.txt as you like. It's

done. Here I combine 4 Text files into one Text.

If you only want to combine several text files you want, e.g., you want to combine 11.txt and 22.txt into one Text file with name new.text, then you can type "copy 11.txt+22.txt new.txt" at the last step.

The new.txt will appear in the "text" folder in D. See that? It's so easy to merge multiple text files into one.If you want to combine multiple Text files into a Mobi, ePub, PDF, etc., file, you need to do the above steps first, and then convert the new Text file into the format you need with conversion program like Calibre.

How to Turn Text Files into PDF, Mobi, ePub, etc.?

Calibre is an eBook management program. It's powerful yet easy to use. The very good thing about Calibre is that it can convert eBook to any eBook format efficiently.

Step 1: Download and install Calibre into your computer and then open it.

Step 2: Drag-n-drop the Text file into you Calibre and press "convert books" button in the toolbar.

Step 3: Choose the output format you need from the "Output format" drop-down list. Tips: From the "Output format" list, you can select eBook types like AZW3, EPUB, FB2, OEB, LIT, LRF, MOBI, HTMLZ, PDB, PML, RB, PDF, RTF, SNB, TCR, TXT, TXTZ.
