The voting equipment will be tested and a public demonstration will be held at the Bank Building, 723 1st Avenue South, Fort Dodge, Iowa, on October 25, 2019 at 9:00 AM and continuing until completed. The public is welcome and invited to attend. Pre-registered voters are required to provide an approved form of identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a regular ballot. Voters who are not pre-registered such, as voters registering to vote on Election Day-and voters changing precincts must also provide proof of residence. A voter who is unable to provide an approved form of identification (or prove residence if required) 1) may have voter’s identity/residence attested to by another registered voter in the precinct, 2) prove identity and residence using Election Day Registration documents, or 3) cast a provisional ballot and provide proof of identity/residence at the County Auditor’s office by 12:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2019. Election Day Registrant attesters must provide an approved form of identification. Voter pre-registration deadline is 5:00 PM October 25, 2019 at the Webster County Auditor’s office. Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed is 5:00 PM, October 25, 2019. Shall the proposition that the City Council of the City of Otho, Iowa establish a Capital Improvements Reserve Fund and levy taxes at a rate not to exceed sixty-seven and one-half cents per thousand dollars of taxable value each year, for a period not to exceed ten years, for the purpose of street, sidewalk, equipment and building improvements in the City of Otho, Iowa be adopted?

Eagle Grove School Public Measure WQ Shall the following Public Measure WQ be adopted? Summary: To adopt a revenue purpose statement describing the use of money from the penny sales, services and use tax for schools received by the Eagle Grove Community School District. In the Eagle Grove Community School District, the following revenue purpose statement, which specifies the use of the sales, services and use tax funds from the secure an advanced vision for education fund for school infrastructure (penny sales, services and use tax for schools) shall be adopted: The money received by the Eagle Grove Community School District from the penny sales, services and use tax for schools beginning immediately and thereafter shall be used (until this revenue purpose statement is amended or replaced) for school infrastructure purposes and needs of the school district and/or property tax relief as now or hereafter authorized by the Code of Iowa. Such school infrastructure purposes include but are not necessarily limited to the construction, reconstruction, repair, purchasing, or remodeling of schoolhouses, stadiums, gyms, field houses and bus garages and the procurements of schoolhouse construction sites, the making of site improvements, demolition work and for equipment, transportation equipment, and public recreation of other activities for which revenues under Iowa Code section 298.3 or 300.2 may be spent, i.e. the physical plant and equipment tax levy and the public educational and recreational tax levy and for a joint infrastructure project with one or more school districts or one or more school districts and community college for which buildings are constructed or leased for the purpose of offering classes under a district-to-community college sharing agreement or concurrent enrollment program. Additionally, school infrastructure includes the payment or retirement of outstanding bonds previously issued for school infrastructure purposes and the payment of retirement of new bonds issued for school infrastructure purposes under section 423E.5 and 423F.4, Code of Iowa, for information technology infrastructure and for school safety and security infrastructure. If the change is not approved, the funds shall continue to be used as historically authorized under the currently existing revenue purpose statement. Gilmore City/Bradgate School Public Measure KO Shall the following Public Measure KO be adopted? Shall the Board of Directors of the Gilmore City-Bradgate Community School District in Humboldt, Pocahontas and Webster Counties, State of Iowa, be authorized for a period of ten years commencing with the 2020-21 budget year, to levy annually, as determined by the Board, a voter-approved physical plant and equipment property tax not to exceed ninety seven ($.97) per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) of the assessed valuation of the taxable property within the school district commencing with the levy for collection in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021 or each year thereafter to be used for any purpose currently or hereafter statutorily authorized, those purposes currently including the following: the purchase and improvement of grounds; the construction of schoolhouses or buildings and opening roads to schoolhouses or buildings; the purchase, lease or lease-purchase of equipment or

technology exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) in value per purchase, lease or lease purchase transaction; the payment of debts contracted for the erection or construction of schoolhouses or buildings, not including interest on bonds; procuring or acquisition of library facilities; repairing, remodeling, reconstructing, improving, or expanding schoolhouses or buildings and additions to existing schoolhouses; to pay the cost of an asbestos project; expenditures for energy conservation including payments made pursuant to a guarantee furnished by a school district entering into a financing agreement for energy management improvements; the rental of facilities under Chapter 28E; the purchase of transportation equipment for transporting students and the repair of such transportation equipment if the cost of repair exceeds $2500; the purchase of buildings or lease purchase option agreements for school buildings; equipment purchases for recreational purposes, payments to a municipality or other entity as required under Section 403.19(2), Code of Iowa or demolition and other costs necessitated by and incurred within two years of a disaster?
