!November 21 at 6:30 PM in the Weld Auditorium 106. Amber will be demonstrating film makeup techniques used on the series The Walking Dead and will share techniques used to create the injuries in Prisoners. !Friday November 22 at 11:00 in CA 119. Join us for a Q&A session about working in the film industry. Amber will share her story about breaking into the film industry as a makeup artist and talk about her experiences both on and off set. !!

Amber has been working as a professional makeup artist for 10 years. She started her makeup career while studying theatrical costume design and art at Wayne State University. After graduating, she fell into working for cosmetic juggernaut Mac Cosmetics where she spent years honing her craft. Aside from her day job at MAC, Amber started building up a freelance clientele. She worked in bridal, runway, editorial, commercial etc. Her work at MAC introduced her to the makeup artist that would offer her a job on a major motion picture that would in time lead to her current work as a union based (IATSE) Makeup artist. !!!
