In the center section of the kit, there is a thread holder for your favorite Aurifi l thread spools. There is also a wool felt rectangle for needles and a sweet strawberry pocket for a small pair of scissors. And of course we can’t forget the pocket that holds your treats! That’s a must-have while you’re sewing that binding on. Everything you need is right there all in one place. This is so convenient that you can take it wherever you go.

Come sew outside with us at our quilting bee! You’ll feel such peace and relaxation. Our very own Annette Rawlinson will show you how to turn boring old borders into eye-catching fun borders while making a quilt. With her amazing skills, you will learn so much and be able to apply it to your quilts. While you are sewing away, take a break to look at all the beautiful quilts that will be hanging along the fence and clotheslines. We just know with dinner and the trunk show, it’ll be a fun night. We promise that you won’t want to miss this! Limited spaces available. The teacher, Annette Rawlinson fi rst learned to sew at age 8 on a treadle sewing machine. She continued her fascination with the sewing world through her teen years as she spent her babysitting money on an electric sewing machine, learned sergers and fi nished many tailoring classes in high school. While raising six perfect children, she sewed for people out of her home, taking classes and fi nding new techniques through-out the years. Annette has served on the Peteeneet Quilt Board for four years, taught at Panguitch Quilt Walk in 2015, and hosted a destination for part of the quilt walk in Payson to show her own quilting displayed in her yard. She is also a domestic free motion quilter of 15-plus years, doing quilts from table top size to king size. She recently became the owner of a Longarm and couldn’t be happier. Currently, Annette enjoys spending her time as a BERNINA Class and Retreat teacher and Serger specialist, playing with her 10 perfect grandchil-dren and wearing fancy hats on Sundays.

Color Cut OutFebruary 12*2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Did you ever buy a design from the Silhouette Design Store that is in color and wonder, “How did they do the coloring?” Or download a fi le in color and you want it to look just like that? Print and cut will allow you to do just that. Instead of paper piecing or layering your vinyl, you can send the design to your printer then take to your Silhouette and cut out the design exactly.

Heat Transfer VinylMarch 18

Grab your Silhouette and supplies for heat transfers. Heat transfer vinyl is a special vinyl that can be cut with the Silhouette, then ironed on to your favorite T-shirt, canvas purse and much, much more. At this class, choose a design, cut out the design with heat transfer vinyl and then iron it onto a canvas bag or bring your own article to iron it onto. Come and get great tips on using another cool feature of your Silhouette.

Deep CutApril 15

Deep cuts with the Cameo. The deep cut blade also can be used with the Curio. We will show you just how this is accomplished. The Cameo can cut up to 2mm with the deep cut blade. From craft foam, felt, paper-backed burlap and cork to chip board, faux leathers, thin metal sheets and even cardboard boxes, it’s time to create, cre-ate, create.

CurioMay 20

Curio: I am so curious about this machine. There are slight differ-ences with the Cameo vs. the Curio. The Curio is meant as more of a specialty tool that can emboss, stipple on metal sheets and do deep cutting. The work area is much smaller, but it can create a wide variety of projects. Come see if this is going to be added to your craft room.

See you there!

We’re going to be at Panguitch for the famous Quiltwalk Retreat as a vendor and we’ll be teaching classes too! It’s one of our favorite shows that we go to! One of the many reasons why this retreat is so popular is the name! It has special meaning behind it. So, sit down… relax and let me tell you the short version of the story behind the name…….

This was back in 1864-The fi rst winter was brutal, food was scarce and the

settlers were starving to death. A group of seven men, with a wagon pulled by two oxen, set out to get food from Parowan, 40 miles away.

In their weakened state the men struggled with every footstep, sinking up to their hips in the deep snow. Eventu-ally they abandoned the wagon and oxen and continued on foot. As they held a prayer circle kneeling on a quilt, they discovered they did not sink in the snow. The men completed their journey by laying quilts over the deep snow and walking across them, retrieving their quilts and repeat-ing the process over and over again. The story came to be

known as the Quilt Walk and is treasured in the annals of Panguitch history.

That’s how the Quilt Walk Retreat came about. This is a week of so much fun and festivities….from quilting classes by teachers from all over, quilt shows, vendors, The Quilt Walk Dinner Theater, Tractor Parade, to Chocolate fest and much, much more!

We’ll have our Bernina sit-down long arm machine and Bernina sewing machines for you to play with. Come see what all you can create with a Bernina and the New Ber-nina longarm. And if you’re already going to be there to take classes, why not pick up a Bernina 3 series to take with you.

These sweet machines are great to take to retreats, classes and anywhere you go because they are lighter weight but are capable of doing just about anything with their heavy duty motors and with their high quality stitches, you’ll be sure to have a better experience with a Bernina. We’ll have specials going on and of course we want you to come have fun with us! We’ll be there to help you in any way we can. Also check out the 5 classes that we will be teaching:
