Concluding thoughtsWhat does our society value? “Making it big.”
How do we do this? By designing the perfect get-rich-quick scheme or the perfect crime.
What’s the thought behind this? We can outsmart anyone.
The problems? In the end, the main characters realize they can’t plan the perfect crime, their get-rich-quick schemes won’t work, but along the way, we’ve usually seen a lot of violence and it’s made to be very comical. Sure, the crime doesn’t pay, but nothing is really lost.
