“The tornado in Oklahoma”

Rigoberto Garcia was from Bolivia. He lived in La

Paz. He was very poor. One day, he won the lottery

so he travelled to California. In California, he sold

fruits and vegetables. He travelled to Oklahoma on

holiday. He stayed at San Marin Hotel.

On August 25th Oklahoma was struck by a tornado.

Fortunately, he survived. He was at hospital,

unconscious, for two years but now he is very good.

Rigoberto went to visit a meteorologist to speak

about the tornadoes. The meteorologist explained

why tornadoes are stronger than other years. It is

because of the hole in the ozone layer and pollution

in the world. He said we should not use sprays,

factories should not pollute the air, and we should

not throw garbage on the street.
