INSIDE THIS ISSUE:

Why did you want to work with the Town of Colma?Ever since I was a young camper in the program I always knew that I wanted to work with the Colma Recreation Department, so naturally when a position opened up a few years ago, I felt that it was finally the perfect time to become a recreation leader.

What is your favorite part about working here? The relationships that are formed here between all the staff and the children become so strong, and it’s great to witness all of it happen throughout the program. The dynamic between the staff and the children is what makes every shift enjoyable and it’s what makes the program so great. It’s amazing to be part of such a positive and entertaining environment. What are you looking forward to? What are your plans for the future? After I graduate I hope to do some traveling and then pursue a career in Speech Pathology.

Fun Fact:At 18 years old, I had the chance to travel throughout Spain for a month, and stay with a family who taught me about the rich and diverse history and culture that Spain has to offer.
