HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
1. Present yourself for membership during any worship service
when the invitation is given.
2. Express your desire for membership through one of the following
means:
• Profession of faith and believer’s baptism by immersion: If you
have never received Jesus as Savior and Lord and/or never
publicly confessed Him, you will be given the opportunity to
do so.
• Transfer membership from another Southern Baptist Church.
• By statement of faith: If you have previously made a
profession of faith and have had believer’s baptism by
immersion, we will be happy to receive you.
3. Attend West Conroe Membership Class This happens on the first
Sunday of every month at 9:30am in HomePointe. You will hear
about our key beliefs, our philosophy of ministry and
opportunities to grow spiritually.

About You Guest Card This information request card can be
found in one of the chair pockets located in front of you. To get
more specific information about WCBC or to request prayer, fill the
card out and drop it in the offering plate at the end of service.
Worship 8:00 am features time-honored hymns with piano, organ,
and choir. 11:00 am features the Celebration Choir, Praise Team and
Band.
Sunday School is available for preschoolers, children, students and
adults at 9:30am.
Wednesday Discipleship Family meal begins at 5:00pm followed by
activities for preschool, children, students and adults at 6:30pm.

MISSIONS/DISCIPLESHIP
• FINANCIAL PEACE Begins Wednesday, April 8th from
6:00-7:30pm in the Library. Pre-register in the church office
by March 30th. Cost is $100 per family.
Passion Service and Easter!
All activities this Wednesday night are dismissed with the
exception of Worship Arts for Kids and Worship Ministry rehearsals.
Please join us for the special Passion Service on Thursday at 7pm.
Easter Sunday morning we will offer three services at 8, 9:30, and
11am. To accommodate the number of guests that morning we will
not have Sunday School.

Last week I appealed to you for help in the Preschool ministry and
concerning the Grangou orphan ministry in Haiti. You responded
enthusiastically and generously! There is still room for more
volunteers in the Preschool and there are still more children in Haiti
at the orphanage that need our help. Go by the Preschool today

Conroe Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast – May 7 7:30-9am
Tickets are on sale online, and at the church office. Our special
guest speaker is Kelly Shackelford, Esq., Liberty Institute. Mayor
Webb Melder, City of Conroe is our Honorary Chairman. Tickets are
$15.
PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN
• FAMILY WORSHIP Today the K-4th graders will be joining us
for worship. Parents, please pick up your child after the
Sunday School hour to attend worship as a family!
• EASTER VOLUNTEERS The Preschool Ministry is in need of
volunteers for Easter Sunday! We especially need help for
the 2nd & 3rd services, as there will be lots of little ones to
love on & share Jesus’ love with. If you would like to help
in either service, contact Lisa at [email protected].
• VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is June 8-12! Registration forms
are now available throughout the church & online!
• PRETEEN CAMP It’s not too late to sign up! Cost is $199
with a $50 non-refundable deposit. For kids who will have
completed 3rd-6th grade by the end of the school year.

STUDENT MINISTRY
• YOUTH GARAGE SALE is May 1st & 2nd! We are now
accepting donations. You can drop off your items in the
big storage bin at the Hilltop at any time. Please no
clothes or mattresses! All proceeds go toward helping our
youth go to summer camp & also the Student Choir Smile
Tour!
• YOUTH CAMP will be here before you know it! We are
going to StudentLife camp in Glorietta, NM July 23-28.
CHURCH NEWS
• EASTER LILIES Order forms are now available in the foyer or
online at www.wcbc.us.
• KAREN TAYLOR SCHOLARSHIP applications are now
available. Graduating female seniors & those wishing to
continue their education can get their application online
or at the front desk. The application deadline is Thursday,
April 30th.
• MEMBERSHIP CLASS will not be offered on Easter Sunday,
April 5th. The next class will be on Sunday, May 3rd.
ADULT MINISTRY
• PRISCILLA SHIRER LIVE SIMULCAST Dig into Scripture with
best-selling author & Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer & worship
with Anthony Evans at the Live Simulcast Saturday, April 25
from 9am- 4:30pm. Tickets are $15 & go on sale Sunday,
March 29 & will be available in the Crossing, church
office, or thru wcbc.us. A light lunch will be provided;
there is no childcare for this event.
