Critical issues faced regarding Land Acquisition for Phase-2 of the Project

Reach-6 Underground Section

Langford Town Station:- Local Military Authorities (LMA) have sent the proposal for

transfer of 2137.334. sqm of land on permanent basis and 5866.569 sqm on

temporary basis to Army Head Quarters. Matter is being pursued with Defence

Authorities.

Lakkasandra Village Sy. No. 14 and 15:- The re-location of 101 encroachers at

Lakkasandra land is under consideration of Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore

Urban and Karnataka Slum Development Board.

Lakkasandra Station:

Building demolition work is in progress (90% completed).

Work area barricading is in progress (85% completed).

Rashtriya Military School (Vellara Launching Shaft):

Secant Pile Construction Work Completed (100% completed).

Work area barricading is in progress (85% completed).

Casting of temporary tunnel rings (segments) in progress (92% completed).

Fabrication work of trusses for shed construction is in progress.

Production yard shed foundation (Excavation, PCC, Raft & Column) work is in progress.

RCC beam for rail of overhead Gantry crane is in progress.

Gantry crane erection completed.

Levelling for internal road access work is in progress.

3 Station Works Progress

Rashtriya Military School Station: Secant Piles are being provided as temporary support structures. 51.6% of the piles for station box and 61.5% of the piles for entry exit have been completed. 16044 Cum (13.49%) of excavation for the station have been completed.

M G Road Station: Secant piles are being provided as temporary support structures. 100% of the Piles for station box and 38.4% of the piles for entry exit have been completed. 49676 Cum (51.1%) of excavation for the station have been completed.

Shivajinagar Station: Secant piles are being provided as temporary support structures. 100.1% of the piles for station box and 67.2% of the piles for entry exit have been completed. 87894 Cum (76.5%) of excavation for the station have been completed.

4 Tunnel Works Progress

TBM 1: AVNI -(Tunnel Boring Starts at Shivajinagar & Ends at Rashtriya Military School)

Site Acceptance Test completed. Installation of Bull flex completed.

TBM work has been started.

TBM 2: LAVI-(Tunnel Boring Starts at Shivajinagar & Ends at Rashtriya Military School) TBM body lowered. Welding works in progress

TBM Works Progress

Urja TBM (TBM No. 01): Tunnelling between Cantonment station to Shivajinagar has started mining from 14.08.2020 and so far completed 24 m of tunnelling out of 855 m (18 rings out of the total scope of 570 rings). Vindhya TBM (TBM No-2): Testing of various components for commissioning is in progress

3 Station Works Progress

Cantonment Station:

Hard rock excavation using controlled blasting technique is in progress. 44% of total excavation, i.e. 71,666 Cum is completed out of 1,62,000 Cum.

1078 Sqm. of PCC has been completed on south side. Launching area for launching of

second Tunnel Boring Machine is made ready.

Pottery Town Station:

Temporary support system with Secant piles: About 96.9% of the secant piles for station box and 100% of the secant piles for Ancillary Building are completed.

Excavation work for station box: About 11% i.e. 18,355 Cum completed out of 1,72,889 Cum.

Fabrication & Installation of first layer struts and waler beams are in progress

4 Peenya Casting Yard Precast Tunnel segment casting: 21.1% of tunnel rings i.e. 683 Nos. of tunnel rings

out of total requirement of 3244 Nos are completed.
