Tersainox in its constant quest for new business and continuing with its policy of innovation and technological development that has provided our consolidation in the market, has signed a commercial and technical agreement with the company SIRVE S.A., a company with great recognition in the eld of engineering that bases its work in the structural design and foundation systems that incorporate seismic isolation .

This agreement is a result not only of our presence of more than 17 years in the market, but also for the outstanding performance that Tersainox has experienced in major mining and industrial projects in our country and abroad.

The agreement mainly aims to lay the foundation for the study and joint development in areas where both Tersainox and SIRVE have knowledge, experience and practical solutions to oer and where the sum of the whole commercial eort constitutes an attraction for potential customers

.The document entitled "Memorandum of Understanding “, described in each of its constituent parts the individual and collective actions to assist the parties involved, mainly emphasizing the role to be played by the commercial departments of both companies in the administration of the commercial agreement towards a joint venture. SIRVE will contribute essentially to the design of structures and Tersainox will make its contribution in the development and manufacture of the structures.

This is where our company 's mission is to maintain hegemony in the broad -based experience in handling and manufacturing all kinds of equipment made of stainless steel, with all the comparative advantages that this product oers to the market, with dierent demands of structures for dierent work environments and operating conditions .

As is well known the 27 of February of 2010 marked an important milestone in the review of technical standards for design and construction, in the various disciplines that make industrial production activity in the country, which is why the designs and materials associated , are essential to ensure continuity of operations considering the constant seismic activity in our territory.

Structures like these images can have a stainless steel -based structural design and seismic isolation system which adds considerable competitive advantage to the projects of our clients.

THE SPARKLING IN CHILE

Page N. 5

Tersainox just close a new contract to manufacture tanks for champagne using Premiun Duplex steels, which are more resistant to pressure compared to other stainless steels.

After researching dierent options of equipment for the production of sparkling, nationally and internationally, the winery took the decision to commission the fabrications of their tanks to Tersainox, due to the large engineering support that we oer, besides being the company in Chile with more tanks up and running throughout the country.

The success of these pressure tanks, lies primarily in our engineering department, thanks to our Finite Element Anlysis calculation program ( Pro Engineer) , after several studies , we provide a functional and safe equipment structurally speaking .

Throughout the years, all our equipment are tested and approved by our customers; equipment used in dierent companies from dierent areas for this is that the Winery took the decision to start negotiations with Tersainox. We give them the trust and condence they need to move forward with your business.

Remarks by Mr Eric Miranda , Trade Manager of the Wine Division.

For our company there were no suppliers of this equipment in Chile. All the pressure tanks that existed in the country, were manufactured in foreign countries.

After Tersainox demonstrated experience in pressurized tanks that worked and knowing the capacity of its engineering and production , we took the decision to commission such manufacturing contract to Tersainox. To date we are more than satised with the decision and that is why we are now ordering a new batch of Tanks.

FAMILIES OF STAINLESS STEEL

Page N. 6

On this opportunity we will discuss the family of special stainless steel, composition and characteristics of each one.

Steels with special properties.

Steels with special properties contain a large amount of alloying elements ( between 8 and 50 % ), hence they are considered as components of many complex alloys . The special properties can be subdivided into the following subgroups:

1. Heat resistant stainless steels ( martensitic , ferritic , austenitic ) .

2.- Steels resistant to low temperatures ( cryogenic )

3.-. Austenitic manganese Steels Resistant to impact.

The destruction of a metal surface by the action of the external medium is called corrosion. Pure iron and low-alloy steels cannot withstand corrosion in the water, air and other media , because the oxide lm that forms is not suciently dense and does not isolate the metal from the chemical action of the medium. The introduction in the steel of more than 12 % Cr, makes it corrosion resistance in the atmosphere , and in many other industrial media . Instead alloys with less than 12% of Cr suer the same degree of corrosion than iron. The alloys having more than 12 - 14% of Cr behave as noble metals , that is, not oxidized in the air, water , and a number of acids , salts and alkalis . Stainless steels are divided into:

A. - Martensitic stainless steels.

B. - Ferritic stainless steels.

C. - Austenitic stainless steels and heat resistant .

A. - Martensitic stainless steels.

It is used in thermo energetic applications where the corrosion resistance is combined with temperatures up to 500 ° C. They martensitic structure is obtained by air cooling. The recommended heat treatment for this type of steel is a tempering with heating between 1000 and 1050 ° C with cooling in air , followed by an annealing between 250 and 750 ° C depending on the steel and the properties being sought . According to the ASM and AISI the following are the steels that are the most used : 403, 410, 416.420 , 431.

B. Ferritic Stainless Steels.

Stainless steels with Cr contents between 17 and 28 % , without any austenitic elements. They are used for furnaces, mues, thermocouple sheaths, and other parts that withstand high temperatures (1050 - 1150 ° C ) without acting on the same mechanical stress . Hence they are also called refractory steels. Drawback presented as ferrite grain growth when heated, and that this structure cannot be rened by means of heat treatment , because these steels have no phase transformations . About 700 ° C arises in them the intermetallic phase, which decreases the impact resistance . This issue also aects the holding time (100 hours at 590 ° C).

According to the ASM and AISI the steels that are the most used : 405, 430.430 F , 446.4.3.3 austenitic stainless steels and heat resistant

C. - Austenitic stainless steels and heat resistant .

The austenitic stainless steels can be grouped into four main groups : a. 18 Cr - 8 Ni with or without special elements or stabilizers such as molybdenum, titanium , niobium, etc.b. 20 Cr - 10 Nic . 16 Cr - 13 Nid . Heat-resistant austenitic steels 24 Cr - 12 Ni and 25 Cr - 20 Ni. The melting temperature range between 1400 and 1430 ° C , have coecients of linear expansion 50 % higher than carbon steel. Its thermal conductivity is 40 % to 50 % lower than that of carbon steel. They have good properties in high temperatures , which are considered refractory and heat resistant ( working at temperatures 1000 ° C ) . The main problems with this family of stainless steel are :

a. Tendency to cracking.b . Precipitation of carbides of Cr ( intercrystalline corrosion).c . Formation of the intermetallic phase

To prevent the formation of Cr carbides which decrease its corrosion resistance, the alloy is stabilize with elements such as Ti and Nb . The carbides of Ti and Nb rst that can be austenitic Cr ferritic or austenitic be formed. To determine the structure of its metal matrix dierent structural diagrams can be used, of which the best known is the Schaeer diagram.

2 - . Steels resistant to low temperatures ( cryogenic ) .

They are known as cryogenic steel, those which are used in machines and equipment for producing , storing and transporting liqueed gases , therefore , are operated until the boiling oxygen ( -183 ° C ) , nitrogen ( -196 ° C ) , neon ( -247 ° C ) , hydrogen ( -253 ° C ) , and helium ( -269 ° C ) , and hydrocarbons ( methyl, butane, and others ) , whose boiling temperature is in the range between -80 and -180 ° C. These steels are stainless at the same time. Content present approximately 18 % Cr and Ni contents of 20 % . Their carbon contents ranging between 0.008 and 0.20 % carbon. Also called super austenitic steels. Presently the nickel is replaced by manganese in approximate amounts of 20 % . Harden by aging, since the austenite is very stable due to the high amounts of nickel and manganese. These steels do not have the AISI or ASM classication rules, Usually due to the high specialization are classied with the manufacturer brands .

4.3.5 Austenitic manganese resistant to impact ( Hadeld ) steels.

Austenitic steel with 0.8 - 12% carbon and 12 to 18 % manganese. Presented often with additions of Mo , Cr and Ni. They are used in parts that work in conditions of large impact loads, combined with abrasive wear (shovels of excavators, bucket dredges, bulldozers, mats , railroad crossings , etc. ) . It is harden by heat treatment ( temperatures a 1100- 1050 ° C ) in water . The stress-relief annealing is performed at temperatures of 150 - 200 ° C. After tempering austenite structure is obtained ( with hardness of 150-250 HB ) that acquires acrimony with the beating ( to 550HB ) . Due to the high hardenability, steel machining is very dicult. According to ASTM the brands mostly used are ASTM A128 , A128 E-1, A128 C.

Two years after TERSAINOX formed a partnership with Holmwood Highgate the largest manufacturer of aluminium road tankers in the Southern Hemisphere, the two companies have collaborated to design a new Stainless Steel Vacuum Tanker Model-Proving the Australian Trailer Market can greatly benet from tapping international synergies.

Developed in conjunction by Tersainox and Holmwood Highgate, the new stainless steel vacuum tanker can pneumatically load liquids and has been specically built for an o-road application used to extract and transport waste oil exploration products.

‘’This vacuum tanker demonstrate our ability to adapt to the dierent requirement of the transport market, which has been a trademark of Holmwood Highgate´s for almost a century’’ says Wayne Crowe of Holmwood Highgate.

This tanker´s primary function is to extract contaminated oil or water that needs to be disposed of. The stainless steel barrel is mounted to a rigid truck and can hold up to 15,000 litres in a single compartment, while incorporating full internal baes. ´´Barrel protection was high `priority, but at the same time keeping the unit as robust as possible’’, Wayne says. ‘’The tank mounts are a heavy – duty, yet exible design allowing for some tank movement whilst the truck is travelling due to the harsh o-road environment.’’

To discharge the load, full-length heavy-duty hoses are used and stowed in trays present on both sides of the tank. Another innovation was the rollover protection system, which was tted to the barrel and sealed with drains to discharge at ground level. Underneath the barrel sit hose trays that are mounted to the sub-frame incorporating mudguards and drain valves, built to maximize convenience for the operator. This included a full width rear bumper bar system incorporating under –run protection, and also protect the rear hatch and equipment of the vacuum tank.

‘’The stainless steel barrel adheres to the most stringent Australian Compliance Standards and is corrosion resistant throughout´´ says Marcelo Salas, Tersainox Manager in Australia.

Painted in white, the dual –axle tanker includes a large capacity 410 cfm (cubic feet per minute) liquid cooled vacuum pump package. The latter is mounted to the chassis and powered by an integrated air operated power take-o’s ECU to incorporate safety monitoring of the components. In Addition, the tanker was tted with a non-slip coating, access ladder that follows the contours of the barrel.

‘’The entire project has shown that Tersainox and Holmwood Group are able to blend its expertise in building Australia`s most reliable stainless steel tankers into many varied transport applications, ‘’ Wayne concludes. ‘’This vacuum tanker is a true indication of the diverse services both companies can provide, even to eet operators outside Australia’’.
