1. Alliance For Safe, Efficient and Competitive Truck Transportation, et al. v. Federal MotorCarrier Safety Administration, et al., Civ. No. 12-1305 (D.C. Cir.)

Petitioners have challenged a rule relating to the issuance of a rule relating to determinations ofthe fitness of a motor carrier to operate in interstate commerce. This case has been argued andsubmitted for a decision.

2. King’s Seafood Inc., et al. v. The Honorable John E. Bryson, Civ. No. 1:12-cv-00592-CKK(D.D.C.)

Challenge to annual catch limits established for the South Atlantic wreckfish fishery. The caseis currently stayed as the parties seek a non-judicial settlement.

3. United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial andService Workers International Union, et al., v. Federal Highway Administration, et al., Civ.No. 1:13-cv-01301-EGS (D.D.C.)

Plaintiffs are challenging a rule issued by the Department of Transportation relating to the BuyAmerica program for steel components used in federally-funded highway projects. The casewas recently transferred from the Federal Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuitto the District Court.

4. Martha’s Vineyard / Dukes County Fishermen’s Association, et al. v. Salazar, et al. and CapeWind Associates, LLC (Intervenor), Civ. No. 1:10-cv-01067-RBW-DAR (D.D.C.)

Involved a challenge to a decision by the Secretary of Interior with respect approvals relatingto the Cape Wind offshore energy project. Our client, MVDCFA, have settled our claims withthe government and the defendant-intervenors.
