COMMUNICATIONS From the Editors NESTOR would like to welcome Aaron Wolpert as a new staff member (Assistant Editor) and regrets to announce the departure of A.J. Lyons, who served ably as an Assistant Editor from September 1995 to September 1996. We would like to pose the following questions to NESTOR readers: 1) The geographical region covered by NESTOR encompasses the Aegean and neighboring areas, including Greece, Italy, Sicily, the Balkans, the Cyclades, Anatolia, the Levant, and Egypt. Are you content with this range? Would you like to see the range increased? Decreased? Which areas would you add or subtract? 2) The chronological range currently covered by NESTOR runs from the Paleolithic to the end of the Bronze Age. Are you content with these limits? Would you like to see the range increased? Decreased? Which periods would you add or subtract? Would you be interested in including the Early Iron Age (Lefkandi, for example) within NESTOR's coverage? Should we include Homeric topics? 3) Should we include literature concerning epigraphical material in addition to the prehistoric Aegean scripts (Hittite archives or Ugaritic letters, for example)? NESTOR would like to know what you think, and how we may best serve our readers. Please send responses to the above questions or any suggestions in general to NESTOR, Department of Classics, University of Cincinnati M.L. 0226, Cincinnati, Ohio 45221-0226, U.S.A., or e-mail us at [email protected].
