How It Is To Live in Waynesboro

Our community that we live in is Waynesboro. The people that live in our community can be anyone from anywhere. The buildings that you see here are fire houses, police stations, fast food places and much, much more. The places I like to go for fun are the mountains and the park and sometimes I like to go to the beach. What some other people like to do for fun is go hunting for deer and bears. Some people like to go on a boat for fun or to fish. Some of the people that can help you and me are teachers. Where I live there was a place that looked like it had been in a fire and someone lived in it because there was still some things in there that you would have keep if you lived there. But don’t think about not coming here if you think it’s haunted because they burned it down. And right now it’s fall and all the trees have been changing colors like red and

orange also yellow.

My community is in the Valley and Ridge region it is called Waynesboro.  Our school is Wenonah. I personally think it is the best school in Waynesboro. Near our groceries store there is a big brown building that I think is haunted! Right down the road we have a place called Dupont my mother’s boyfriend used to work there. There is also a place called Wilco. That is a gas station. My house is in Waynesboro too! I live at 207 South Forest Avenue. I have a dog named Ranger. There is a huge tree in my front yard. My mother works at a new restaurant called Sonic. She started two months ago. There are also fire trucks! There are hospitals and police stations. There are other schools in my community, like Berkley Glenn and West wood! In the summer I go to Berkley Glenn. That is called summer camp! Next year I will be in 5th grade and then I will be in middle school! But we are talking about the community. Well, it is a very clean environment and it is very safe. You would love the neighborhood .Well, that’s all about this community !

The information from the other school contributed to our class project because it showed the students the similarities that we all hold in common. They learned that firehouses and police stations exist in all parts of the world and that they are important to everyone. The students were fascinated by the big brown building in Waynesboro. They connected their fear of Waynesboro to the fear they experienced when we read Ira’s Sleep Over by Houghton Mifflin
