CoP is self-contained unit, negotiates agenda, tasks among their members
Members sign Memorandum of Understanding
Budget managed autonomously (travel, training)
Transversal learning - “Matching Events” organized along three thematic priorities: careers, decision making, gender dimension
Success factors
CoP can respond to local needs
CoPs synchronize well with the commitment and motivation of many actors for gender equality
Inter-organizational setup helps to overcome the isolation of many people working on gender equality
