Current Issues and Challenges
• Presence of Death threats to forest guards;
• Need of Equipment support for patrolling (binoculars, rain gears etc.)
• Establishing Incentive mechanism to support forest guards
• Overlapping boundaries with PAs SWOT analysis from forest guards: threat to life
Take Home:
Youth, women and indigenous peoples are our allies for conservation. We we need to do is create a good environment where we can collaborate and optimize our strengths towards our common goal.
