Chruściki is a Polish word for a non-yeast-dough, bow-tie shaped pastry that is fried and dusted with confectioners' sugar or drizzled with honey. Manystore-bought, manufactured body products are laden with chemicals, toxins and alcohol.Natural body products can be made right at home using natural oils, butters & other skin-nourishing ingredients. Instructor Kira Bixel, Co-owner and Operator of Bixel Family Farmbegan making goat milk soap and lotion to provide natural alternatives for family and friends.The hobby became a part-time business for their small farm.     Photography instructor Tom Sherrill-Mix has been a professional photographer nearly all his adult life and has taught a variety of credit and non-credit photography classes at ACC for decades. Tom attended Academy of Arts in San Francisco and is the Owner of Third Eye Photography.

    20-29: GENERALPHOTOGRAPHY and ADVANCED TECHNIQUES for ALLCAMERAS: Become a better photographer and ensure those preciousmemories are worthy of years of smiles! Whether a newcomer to photography

    or just want to improve skills, this class provides insights, ideas, tricks and techniques to better photographyfrom a professional. Learn camera functions, how to use and understand scene modes, basic photographyprinciples including: shutter, ISO and aperture, and composition fundamentals through hands-on examples,indoors and out.   • 20-30: INTRODUCTORY and INTERMEDIATE CONCEPTS of FLY FISHING:If you’ve ever wanted to learn or improve skills with flies and fly rod, this is yourchance! Designed for beginners through intermediate anglers, start with thebasics covering fish, habitat, food sources, equipment, flies, knots, casting, etc.and conclude with an optional field trip to practice and apply skills on a stream.Each of the 5-week sessions builds on the previous. Registration limited to 15.NOTE: Fly box and flies included - everyone receives complementary flies!Equipment not needed for classroom sessions.

    Instructors: Bob Baughman and Ron Young share an odd obsession with this sport. Bob has chased fish with a fly rod from saltwater to fresh for over 30 years. Ron jumped into fly fishing with both feet after retirement, garnering

    significant experience, and he’s never looked back. Both men are engineers by degree, and there is not a technical aspect of the sport they don't enjoy exploring. They have a laid back, easy going style that takes out the "techno-speak." This course will introduce you to all things fly fishing if you’re new to it, but it’s also for anyone at an intermediate level who’d enjoy polishing up casting skills; Bob and Ron help you do that, too!

    A round at the Alpena Golf Club promises to be an enjoyable diversified experience, from the traditional front nine to the contemporary back nine, which places a premium on shot making with its water, woods, and doglegs. In short, you will find Alpena’s 18 holes to be enjoyable, emphasizing pleasure and playability, regardless of your level of play.

    Join Instructors Chris Limback and Tom Lahner avid golf players and instructors at the Alpena Golf Club, as they work with students to set realistic goals and to help develop a strong and confident mental attitude. Students will learn how to improve their playing ability and enjoyment of the game.

    This class is designed for beginning adult golfers with little or no golf experience. Learn the basics of the game to gain the knowledge and comfort to move beyond the first tee and play the game. Limit of only 12 participants so register early!
