Prepared by Village Vision with support from Rural Community Action Nottinghamshire
Introduction
This document has been produced followingconsultation with the residents of BestwoodVillage during Spring/Summer of 2011.
The consultation was conducted by the VillageVision Steering Group supported by Bestwoodand St Albans Parish Council, RuralCommunity Action Nottinghamshire andGedling Borough Council.
In 2011 a questionnaire was distributed to allhouseholds in Bestwood Village and returnedby 323 households. In addition young peopleand children were consulted. On September24th 2011 approximately 40 residentsattended an action planning event to takeforward the findings of the consultations.
The following action plan is an outcome of theabove activities.

Request change of time for allowing over 60s totravel with bus passes from 9am rather than9.30am – this may increase occupancy
Speak to NET (trams) with regards to tying in thefree travel pass times to those of the free travelpass times for buses
