Green Living FairHarvard-Westlake’s Environmental Club participated in the 4th Annual Studio City Green Living Fair at Moorpark Park. HW students distributed sustainable, native plants in pots that children were able to decorate and take home. Special thanks to the Theodore Payne Foundation for their help with Harvard-Westlake’s outreach booth.

Rise Against HungerHarvard-Westlake juniors packed nearly 10,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger (the non-profit formerly known as End Hunger Now). The international organization distributes food and life-sustaining aid to the world’s most vulnerable. Harvard-Westlake and its students have committed to Rise Against Hunger’s goal of mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030.

Feeding the HomelessHarvard-Westlake sophomores raced to make over 500 sack lunches for My Friend’s House LA during a school assembly.

Their efforts will provide life-sustaining staples such as food, clothing, toiletries, and overall encouragement to the homeless and economically disadvantaged. My Friend’s House LA is all-inclusive, responding to the needs of men, women, children, and

seniors in Los Angeles regardless of race or religious beliefs. Ultimately, these programs provide support to clients to become self-sufficient and live healthy, prosperous lives.
