Fuel Up to Play 60 at Rock Creek Elementary School in Beaverton Oregon is led by program advisors Rosslynn Bennett (Cafeteria Manager) and Lori Meeks (PE Teacher).

Activities
Title: 10 months 10 foods: A program to introduce new and healthy foods to elementary school children and to encourage parent involvement through monthly newsletters.
Goal: Increase elementary school children’s fruit and vegetable consumption by introducing a new food each month at school and providing monthly newsletters with tips about the school-featured foods to parents to encourage family involvement.
Program Objectives
1. Students will consume at least 3 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
2. Children will help prepare dinner with parents at least once a week.
3. All school children will participate in school demos and activities promoting fruits and vegetables at least once a year.
Target Audience: The 500 students from Rock Creek Elementary School in Beaverton, Oregon and their families, that have access to the Internet, are the target audience for the newsletter service. Families who do not have access to the Internet unfortunately will not receive the service.
