• The purpose of this training is to communicate the new and key features of the Nokia 7510 Supernova. The material is targeted at agents who need to provide usability support for the product.

• The Nokia 7510 Supernova integrates as first product the new web kit based open source browser for Series 40.

• Nokia Web Browser maintains the look and feel of the Series 40 Native Browser.

• The Series 40 Nokia Web Browser supports full HTML, CSS and Javascript enabled websites.

• Client side image maps to load URLs

• Form auto-fill and auto-complete assist users in filling out forms by storing previously submitted data.

• Form controls and selection lists define how a browser displays <input> elements such as input boxes, radio buttons, checkboxes and selection lists.

• Go to address history provides a list of previously entered URLs

• IFrames are usually used to display one independent section that is

enclosed within a page.

• Image operations include, for example, saving images and sending images.

• Inline Media means that for example the video or audio plays within the browser instead of launching a separate media player.

• Navigation provides various ways for the user to load web pages.

• History and backstepping provide the user a way to navigate to previously visited pages and the last visited page.

• Windows Live Messenger Java client incorporates the Series 40 xSP framework in the following areas:

• Windows Live Messenger – Instant messaging to chat on the go as a standalone Java application

• Windows Live Contacts (contacts from PC messenger synchronised to mobile phone) –> sub-tab in native Contacts

• Active Standby displays Windows Live Messenger status

• Windows Live Search – as part of Nokia Search client

• Windows Live Messenger is a subscription based service for those countries that support Microsoft billing system.
