The Ergo advantage
Ergo’s market advantage is tied to our size, systems and internal culture.
Not too big, not too small
As a mid-size consultancy, Ergo provides the level of resource you’d expect from a larger company with the level of personal commitment and accountability that might attract you to use a smaller company.
Systems geared to success
Good systems take time. At Ergo we have worked closely on our internal processes to ensure we continually provide the best possible service in all delivery areas. We have invested much time in developing and training in systems which include a quality management system (compliant with ISO:9001), detailed design standards, quality control, conceptual processes, well defined scopes, high CAD standards and attention to detail – just to name a few. As independent design consultants, Ergo’s role is to deliver, so that you get the best-for-application solutions. Our engineers are looking for stability, simplicity, reliability and proven benefits.
A culture of collaborative excellence
We take great pains to recruit and train exceptional people, then we look after them well so that our clients get the benefit of a ‘continuum of care’.
• Ergo takes two to three graduates every year. All staff are trained through weekly training sessions, external courses, placements within the industry and supervised work.
• Because we look after our people, we have a very low staff turnover. Our clients can build a positive working relationship with engineers who know their business.
• Our culture ensures our people are not regularly working overtime. If they do, they are paid for it.
• Much is done at Ergo to build and maintain team spirit – we play sport together and organise entertaining group activities that help to make Ergo a great place to work.
