Message from the Managing Director
Thank you for taking the time to find out about LEMON Leadership South Africa. Your interest in what we do and how we do it is appreciated.
Based on the book LEMON Leadership by Brett Johnson, LEMON Leadership© is a product that is owned by The Institute for Innovation, Integration and Impact, Inc. They are based in California, USA.
Having worked with LEMON Leadership since 1999, we founded LEMON Leadership South Africa in 2012 with the purpose of impacting the lives of the people of Africa. We are a 55% black owned company.
LEMON Leadership South Africa is the sole representative and has the exclusive rights to use the LEMON Leadership product in South Africa.

LEMON Leadership does not deal with the “How To” of leadership. It looks at the “Who are you?” in a fresh way. Good leaders lead out of their identity. It doesn’t matter too much what your style, university or ethnicity may be. The key is to know what type of leader you are in order to understand how your identity as a leader will impact the people around you, as well as better understand the identity of those you are leading or relating to in order to increase the impact of the team.

LEMON - The first Step, is an introduction to LEMON that lays the foundation for all the LEMON modules
LEMON – THE FIRST STEP LOOKS AT:

A good leader leads out of their identity or DNA. If my DNA is different from the person who led the team before me, if I do not deliberately and skilfully transition the team to my own DNA, within 18-20 months the team will hit the proverbial wall, and within a year of this happening I (as the leader), or the team, will fail.
We provide skills that help manage transitioning.
