COMPANY HISTORY
Rama Modern is one of his Royal Highness Prince Khalid’s group of investment, The
group includes diversified business in Saudi Arabia, The Group is financially solid and
funds are available for immediate expansion.
Rama Modern is a professional well organized marketing and distribution organization in
the business of representing reputable international suppliers for good quality consumer,
cosmetics and food items.
Rama Modern covers effectively the Saudi Arabia market place nation-wide directly and
indirect through the relevant retail and whole sale network.

Rama Modern Manage and operate three main branches at Jeddah, Riyadh
and Dammam and two sub-branches at north & south covering the three Saudi
regions, Eastern, Central and western though professional management team.
The company director and general manager having a full managerial and
financial authorities delegate the related authorities to national sales and
marketing manager, Branch managers and financial controller are authorized to
fulfill their own responsibilities according to the professional company’s policy.
Rama’s headquarters responsibilities includes planning and controlling the
operation as well as annual preparation of company’s budget and business
plans including suppliers annual purchase forecast.
The General manager implement an effective reporting system, keeping inter-

We believe that this approach is the only guarantee to achieve the company’s objectives for
sales coverage and create consumers demand and product’s loyalties
which lead to a short and longer term profitability.
Based on annual agreement with the suppliers the company conducts the appropriate and the
most cost effective advertising and promotional campaigns.
The Main Function of the Marketing Department1.Preparation of marketing plans for each supplier’s product group.
2.Planning and implementation of the advertising and promotional activities.
3.Pricing policy, strategy and product positioning.
4.Market research.
5.Planning and implementation of various events and celebration.
6.Product displays and demonstrations and sampling – Planning and implementation.
A modern up to date computer system and programs are used in fulfilling and
preparing customer’s orders, issuing invoices, control the Stock of each item
based on shelf life and expiry date, pricing system, inventory and re-ordering
points. This is applicable to each branch and also directly monitored by head
office.
CREDIT FACILITIES
Rama modern offers to its customers a credit terms allowed up to 90 days
from the date of receiving/delivery of their orders, however the average
actual collection period is 120 days, this help increasing sales coverage
among the trade.
RAMA EXPERIENCE
The company has more than sixteen years experiences in sales and distribution
of dry food products and cosmetic, consumer brands in Saudi Arabia market.
We have successfully listed most of our suppliers brands in all the famous Saudi
Hypermarkets and Supermarkets Chains while our sales and marketing team
have succeeded in creating consumer awareness and demand for the them.
Rama Company is proud of its sales and marketing achievements with the
suppliers and it’s continuous support.
We have gained good experience in distributing and marketing our products
portfolio in our market and are planning to extend this experience in the future to

100 corporations in USA. It’s based in St. Luis Missouri, USA. (Rolston Cerials, Biscuits, Chex
mix, CBC Cacks Beech Nut Baby food. Etc.)
• Regional Manager for M. East at Artsana Co. at Como Italy one of the largest companies in Italy.
It owns “Chicco” brand for cloth and other baby products and also “Lycia and Korff” Cosmetics.
• General Marketing Manager at Sara Corporation in Saudi Arabia (An agent for
most famous house brands of French, European, Japanese and USA Companies)
• General Manager at Sara Corp (above mentioned)

Mr. Medhat Sarhan
He has a long stand experience in sales and marketing at Saudi Arabia for more than 25 years he
held managerial positions at many major corporations with excellent records of achievements in
sales and marketing management.
He worked for Al-Fale company (An agent and distribution of for perfumes, he was responsible
directly for the entire Saudi market) Launching many international famous brands in Saudi Arabia
with great success such as Cussons range of toiletry and Imperial leather (English Brand) a
personal care range.
PURCHASING MANAGER
Mr. Mohammad Mohsein
He’s a professional and skilled and active manager. He has a long stand records and managerial
skills in the field of international communications and purchases. He manages the Rama
purchasing department with great success for more than 8 years.
MANAGEMENTBONG RETUYA - Marketing/Advertising ManagerResponsible of initiating marketing plan, merchandising, display and coordinating with the Sales
Manager for all the related activities plan and implement celebration events. Responsible for all
artworks design and product labels for Rama suppliers.
ALAM AL DIN IBRAHIM – Finance ManagerHe has a long stand experience in the accounting and financial control management with excellent
records of accuracy. He is responsible for controlling suppliers financial records and payments including
annual achievements, statement of account credit and debit notes.
He is in service with the Company for 7 years while he has a previous experience with the group for 5
years with a great satisfaction and was awarded by the Chairman of the group His Royal Highness
Prince Khalid.
FLORENCIO VILLADOS – Export SpecialistIn-charge of coordinating all consolidators for food and non-food products. Follow up with
consolidators/suppliers all the needed information/documents needed for every shipment. Arrange all
meetings appointment to all suppliers. Look for other products that has market potentials in the KSA
