MCB Ltd is going green. The Bank, with the launching of the sensitisation campaign ‘Initiative 175’ which targets to create an awareness for the respect of the ecology, is working towards the goal set by the ‘Maurice Ile Durable’ project, to make Mauritius a sustainable island, which consumes less energy and hence, result in less pollution
Since education is the only way to get away from poverty, the MCB Ltd usually invests a lot in the education for the people living in poverty and extreme poverty level. Hence, distributions of scholars equipment are often taking place and without mentioning the allocation of scholarships for merit students

Being aware of the youth and sports, the Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd has sponsored many major sport tournaments, for instance the Mauritius Tennis Open and so on.
Humanitarian Issues
A successful company is a company which has a heart, a tender heart for humanity. Hence, the MCB Ltd is always present when it concerns making donations to the needy people. For instance, the MCB used to participate in teledon, where money would be useful to countries which have faced natural disasters.
