"The aim of the Comparative Healthcare Systems Program (CHSP) in its broadest sense, is to provide opportunities for comparisons and contrasts between healthcare systems. It is hoped that ideas for the betterment of the Canadian healthcare system will stem from these comparisons."

Purpose of the Trip

• Epidemic disease control (SARS, H1N1)
• Social health policies
• Application of innovative technology for health care administration (SmartCard)
• Comparison of Taiwanese, American and Canadian health care systems
• Tours of various hospitals and major medical centres to observe the differences between private and public care
Cultural Exchange
Represent McGill abroad
Who are we looking for?
-Strong interest in public health and health policy-Responsible and reliable- Able to represent McGill- Adventurous: open-minded about different cultures - Demonstrates respect and sensible to others
How to Apply?Eligibility: • Currently Enrolled in McGill • Strong interest in public health
Cost of the trip: Lodging and program fees will be covered by CHSP. Participants will be responsible for travel, food and personal expenses only.
