Take a train ticket at Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Aranyaprathet 3rd ClassTrain is at 05:55 am, no reservation required. Or, catch the train at Phaya Thai BTS Skytrain Station at 6:10. Or next train at 01.00 PM

Take a tuk-tuk from Aranyaprathet to Poipet (Paoy Paet) border point – 10 min – 100 Baht Make the Thai Exit formalities at the Official Border Post, get the Thai Exit stamp and walk to Cambodian Border office, get fingerprints scanned, pay $20 visa fee and get the visa stamped. Take a ‘Poipet Tourist Passenger International Terminal’ shuttle bus to a station to get a Taxi to Siem Reap. Poipet to Siem Reap – by bus or a taxi (152 Kms) - $12 for a seat in Taxi or $9 for a van

Siem Reap to Pnom Penh by Speedboat, its $35; 6 hrs; by bus (Mekong Express) its $10. Siem Reap to Pnom Penh – boat starts at 6:30 in the morning and returns at 7:30 from Pnom Penh

Stay in Wat Bo / Taphul Village in Siem Reap. Get a local map and enjoy the sigh seeing rather than carrying digital maps.
