Among the guests was the parents of Mrs. Dykstra, and the parents of Mr. Dykstra and other members of the family, and guests from throughout the county. Mrs. Knapp, organist, furnished the music and the Acolytes participated in the service. The guest speaker for the service" of ordination was Dr. Elizabeth Nord- beck a professor of American Church History and Dean of students at Lancaster Theological Seminary of the United Church of Christ at Lan- caster, Pennsylvania. She chose 'O Woman Great is your Faith' for the ordian- tion speech. Other participants were the Rev. John Chesney, Pastor of the United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga; Rev. Timothy Dykstra, co- pastor of the Crown Point and Chilson Protestant churches; the Rev. Ronald Kurtz, area minister of the Eastern area of the New York Conference United Church of Christ, the Rev. Lawerence Wholly, Jr., Moderator of the Essex Association of the New York Conferece United Church of Christ. The Rev. Mrs. Joyce Barker . presided at the punch bowl. Tammy Harper In a Cast Tammy Harper who was a patient in a hospital in Schenectady to have a cast placed on her back, is back in school. She became 13 years old while hospitalized. She has to wear the cast for a few months. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmar Harper, Jr. Mrs. Bevins Recovering Mrs. Berjha Bevins is convalescing at her home. She was in the Moses Ludington Hospital for several days. Mrs. Barnett Takes a Spill Mrs. Maude Barnett fell at her home and is in St. Peter's Hospital in Albarty. er Resident Buys Trading Post : Ttthmy Benedict of Ti|i)nderbga, formerly of Ctown <P6int, and, Jim Murray' of Middiebury, VT have' purchased the Crown Point Trading Post on. Indian Ridge in town andTplan to open it for business at the end of this month. Dick Gerald of town plans to help them when they open.' A private party was held there on Friday evening to celebrate Joyce Barker's birthday. Mrs. Skinner Hurt Mrs. Elizabeth Skinner had the misfortune to fall at her home on May 6th. She received a severe fracture to her right ankle. She was taken to the Porter Hospital by their ambulance and the bone was wired together and her foot and leg plac- ed in a cast. She returned home within three days. Hobby Club to Meet The May 19th meeting of the Tuesday Hobby Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Esther Waner. A 1 o'clock dessert will be served, follwed by the meeting. Sympathy Extended . Interment for Rolland Rafferty was held in the Ironville Cemetery on Monday, May 11th. Sym- pathy is extended to his family. He was a borther to Howard Rafferty of Crown Point. Omission The name of Mrs. Lena Rule of Port Henry was inadyertently omitted from the list of guests in attendance at the surprise party given for Una Sloan WhJtfbrd to welcome Una into thevfamily of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Whitford. Among the guests was the parents of Mrs. Dykstra, and the parents of Mr. Dykstra and other members of the family, and guests from throughout the county.

Mrs. Knapp, organist, furnished the music and the Acolytes participated in the service.

The guest speaker for the service" of ordination was Dr. Elizabeth Nord-b e c k a professor of American Church History and Dean of students at Lancaster Theo log ica l Seminary of the United Church of Christ at Lan­caster, Pennsylvania. She chose 'O Woman Great is your Faith' for the ordian-tion speech.

Mrs. Skinner Hurt Mrs. Elizabeth Skinner

had the misfortune t o fall at her home on May 6th. She received a severe fracture to her right ankle. She was taken to the Porter Hospital by their ambulance and the bone was wired together and her foot and leg plac­ed in a cast. She returned home within three days.
