Composition AO2: Composition Photograph 1: For this photograph, I wanted to show the both characters at once, but also give a sense of what the situation their in feels like. One character is swinging on a ledge and looking up. I took the photograph from below, and looked up, to give the effect on a point of view shot - while still showing both characters. I think this has worked on some level, but I’m not happy with the lighting of the photograph. Photograph 2: For photograph 2, I used the same technique of shooting from under the subject but came in much closer. I much prefer this image because it uses the rule of thirds and fits the frame better. I also think leaving the arms of the second character still gives a view into what’s happening in the scene. An edited version of the above photo would be displayed prior to this one, to explain the arms of the character below.
