OBJECTIVES
1. We will learn about effective strategies to design a Comprehensive Achievement Plan (CAP) for school improvement.
2. We will learn about the review process for a CAP from the School Improvement Team.
3. We will learn how to use the plan as a continuous improvement tool.
EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR DESIGNING A CAP
1. Assess all indicators as a team.2. Choose no more than 3 priorities for the
school.3. Choose fewer than 5 indicators that best
align with the priorities of the school.4. Write descriptive tasks that allow for
progress monitoring.5. Use data as evidence of implementation.
