Ray Nixon & Associates, Inc. commenced operations as a data communications company at Seattle in March, 1983.  We have since continuously provided a variety of products and engineering support services to the old AT&T, McCaw Cellular, AT&T Wireless, Bell South, Southwestern Bell, Ameritech, Southern New England Telephone, Cingular, AT&T, Verizon and others.

Non-AGPS test sets with dual mode are necessary to test 3G SBHO E911 in accordance with ND-00336

Suppressing the incoming GPS signals to an AGPS test set does not make it a non-AGPS test set or a non-AGPS call

Successfully defeating the incoming GPS signals to an AGPS test set will yield either a Round Trip Timing locate or an E911 Phase 1 return

Proper 3G AGPS E911 calls yield Handset GPS locates with typical uncertainties of 8 meters to 70 meters

Proper 3G non-AGPS E911 calls yield Network TDOA locates with typical uncertainties of 70 meters to 200 meters

Improper 3G non-AGPS calls yield, at best, RTT locates with typical uncertainties of 200 meters to >1 kilometer

Non-AGPS test sets lockable to bands, frequency numbers and primary scrambling codes while in locked or dual mode are necessary to properly test and troubleshoot SBHO

Non-AGPS handsets

We provide all handset and AirCard SIMs with the exception of PSAP Simulator SIMs and Engineering (reserved network) SIMs

Our drivers carry a collection of SIMs including home, roamer, foreign, pre-paid, post-paid, never activated, deactivated, international, etc.

Our drivers carry SIMs with various voice and data plans including micro, mini, nano for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and aircards.

Test SIMs

We work frequently with AT&T and Jon Northup’s group to provision, re-provision or troubleshoot PSAP Simulator SIMs for a variety of purposes

We provide real-time interpretation of returns and long-term analysis

PSAP Simulator SIMs

We provide Alta Vista-trained personnel to man stations in certain PSAPs for the purpose of relieving additional burden on PSAP operators due to E911 testing

PSAP Staff Augmentation

We provide FTP servers for data transfer testing

We provide Cat 3 through Cat 8 devices We provide multi-RAB test devices

Data Testing

We provide a SPOC/project coordinator to each project We maintain an extensive library of GSM, UMTS and LTE sites together

with site IDs, sectors, azimuths, bands, control channels, frequency numbers and primary scrambling codes

We have the ability to turn 5MB data dumps into maps viewable in a variety of software within seconds

In markets where we do not provide AT&T maintenance window bridge hosting, we provide driver bridges and test project coordinators
