Central Processing Unit is the “Brains” of the computer. The CPU is a processors that carries out instructions of the programs.
Mouse
Is an input pointing device.
Keyboard
Is an input device, used to key in data.
Monitor
Displays images or symbols from the computer.
Desktop/tower/laptop
Laptop Computer
Tower Computer

Memory
Memory - is a temporary or permanent storage for data.
RAM
Radom Access Memory-computer data storage
Printer
An output device that prints hardcopy of your data
Modem
Modulates an analog signal to encode digital information, think of it as a translator
Wireless Card
Use to connect to a network instead of using a cable to connect to a network.
Linksys Router
HNI issues the router for you to connect from your home office to the HNI network. You can connect the router to your modem and then have a network connection. You can connect your home equipment to the Linksys also.
USB
To connect your hardware devices they may have a USB plug, this is what a USB plug looks like.
