OUR TRADITIONAL WELCOMING CEREMONYThe bread and salt ceremony is a welcoming ceremony. When important, respected or admired guests arrive, they are presented with a loaf of bread and salt. The bread is presented by young men and women dressed in national costumes.

SHEEP MEASUREMENT

TOURISTIC ATTRACTIONSThe Parvesti Church.

A historical monument built in the 18th century. The legend

claims that it was built by seven outlaws hosted by the Parvu family. It contains an inscription dating back to

1785. It is situated in Barisor approximately 1 kilometre

away from the district centre.
