COMPUTER HARDWARE SERVICING NC II (392 HOURS)

Course Description:

Our 392-hour COMPUTER HARDWARE SERVICING NCII course covers basic and common competencies such as installing, maintaining, configuring, and diagnosing computer systems and networks. Learn how to troubleshoot and isolate computer problems; how to boost up your PC; how to use a multi-tester and how to test the power supply, Motherboard, CPU. Know the difference between SATA and PATA. Learn about PC upgrading, reformat and installation of Win98, XP, VISTA & Windows 7, and DOS commands how to bypass the Windows password, Manual Virus Deletion and Networking. Plus, be trained on how to perform PC cloning and disk partitioning.

ON –THE-JOB TRAINING (240 HOURS)

Module 6: The 240-hour On-the-Job Training program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the trainee through actual experience in the workplace. It also enables the trainee to acquire specific competencies that are directly related to the course. The trainee may fulfill this through his/her chosen local company or may choose among PSTC tie-up companies. This also enables an opportunity to get a job referral for the trainee. **Trainee may choose to first take Modules 1&2, Modules 3&4 or the Elective Course in Module 5.
