AccreditationSoutheast Kentucky Community & Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033, (404)679-4500.

Employment Opportunities Graduates with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology with the network administration option will be qualified for entry-level positions in installation and administration of local and wide area networks in medium to large businesses and organizations, and computer network administration positions in small businesses. Moreover, many school systems, higher education institutions, churches and other community organizations employ IT graduates.

For those students interested in specific training without the need or desire to enter a full degree program, Southeast also offers a number of stand-alone certificate programs to choose from. A certificate program offers very specific training on one area of Information Technology without the requiring the additional course loadassociated with a degree. Such areas include MicrosoftOperating Systems (MCTS, MCSA), Computer repair (A+ Prep), Computer Security (Security + Prep), Cisco Network Administration (CCNA, CCENT) or a well-rounded sampling of all fields (CIT Fundamentals).

Should a student complete one or more certificate programs and desire to progress further, all credits earned toward Computer Information Technology Certificates can be applied toward a C.I.T. Associate of Applied Science Degree.
