An Evening of Prayer and Praise

MiamiValley

CommunityChoir

The Concert of Prayer focuses on the Lost, The Church and our Community. Join others for an evening of prayer to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ for the specific needs of those people in our community who are in need of the Free Gift of Eternal Life. Also, the needs of the Church and Community will be addressed. Organized prayer times will be led by local Pastors followed by interludes of praise and worship supported by the 50 plus voice Miami Valley Community Choir. Prayer will focus on the souls of individuals whose names were placed onto a prayer card and placed in Gold Boxes who are in need of the Free Gift of Eternal Life. The boxes were located in churches throughout the Miami Valley prior to this event. Prayer also will center on the needs of the Body of Christ, including: the unconditional surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, Biblical Unity for The Church, the needs of the persecuted Church and the need to communicate the Gospel to all nations. Prayer for our community and country will be emphasized too, especially for the Greater Dayton area’s crime rate; for the safety and success of our troops; for the economic health of the Miami Valley; and for our government.

Fifty-four voices from 26 different churches gathered in the year 2004 to support Dr. Ron Kenoly in worship. This group was trained by Reverend Winston in preparation for Dr Kenoly.

Joshua’s Jazz will support this year’s concert with an accomplished brass band.
